Setcpu and OCing works great take a look at my guides on arctablet.com... for more on market,setcpu etc...

Battery.., am getting 4-6 hours out of mine and thats with 271 apps installed and using wifi sceen almost alwas full brightness..but 6 hours is verynlittle wifi and low brightness..

My tablets OCed..

have now used a usb keyboard and mouse(adpters are 98p on ****) and works well..

Well he's done it himself bobs method but says can't install basics like Facebook and twitter not compatable What does he have to do side load or what cheers

I am sure that getting google to say compatible is a simple build.prop file edit and telling it you are some other device! Especially if facebook app side loads OK.

See if you can find a ICS tablet build.prop that is compatiable and swap it. If your rooted this is easy.

Thanks bob..yes hes side loaded it for now and works..and these come rooted out the box

Hi apologies for late reply have had a busy duty period due to the weather etc.. anyway the facebook thing works as you have found by sideloading but also try searching and adding the files I mentioned earlier in the thread too.. As to the red light yep thas how it should be and will change colour or flash(can't remember which) when batter is low...

update i found the 2 files for him..hes done it..able to install google currents now from play but no maps still...any ideas? no social stuff twitter etc is compatable at all..so looks like a lot of side loading for him to do i guess?

hmmmm not sure now as maps,google earth,facebook and twitter app installed fine on ours!!!
