    Select the 4gb parameter file.
Select the T kernel but not a stock one. The stock ones didn't work for me.

It looks like after the fancy kitkat screen its going black again, just wait a while. But still looking for a kernel with MTK support, to get the wifi going.
    New or old version ?

I remember have try the new one and it doesn't boot

Same firmware (stock and kitkat) but this time on a lcd monitor >> it works

The problem seems to be the detection of the HDMI signal by my TV

Ok ? So is there a rooted Kitkat Android version available for this stick ? That would be awesome

I am quite a noob, but I think that root is not a problem, tutorials are probably available on this forum.

In contrast to the wifi and BT works, it will take someone to do a kernel containing the driver for wifi and ESP8089 MT6222N for BT.

            A voluntary ??

It work with stock kernel on my TV on 480p (wifi + bluetooth)

... but it worked in 1080p with qc802 stock kernel (but no wifi or BT) ...

Hello, I'm noob and I have the same problem. But I follow a guide on youtube for root my device mk809III with esp8089. I use UNROOTLOCK PRO and it works. I rooted my stick and the wifi works. My only problem is I bought the stick to use skygo and I have some problem and the app give me errors. So I need another custom firmware to solve this problem...

That's nothing to do with firmware "sky go" will not work on rooted roms. Unless you can hide root with a apk. But on most devices this will still not work! Just unroot and sky go should work . Hope that helps you. :O)

I have this same device with the red boar 809III 2_1, this J22 is crazy so many versions and so much trouble.

At first it was displaying hdmi flicker, the seller gave me a link to a ROM

All works fine but it does some strange things, it will not download from the web to the SDCard, it seems like a power issue, it is clocked at 1.6ghz and I can not wind it back after rooting and installing setcpu plus antutu cpumaster.

The rom the seller posted is

I might have now found a newer version on a chinese site.. so crap that we have to track down roms for stock products to work

and omg.. this last one that I managed to find on a chinese site works to give me a fully functioning stock J22/Cx-919ii

Can you check what clock speed is with perfmon apk off aptoide? that will show true top speed but use antutu to set cpu to max and set to performance gov. I have a rom for the stick with revision number "CYX_809III_RK3188 V2_1 20140208" You need to open you stick and look on motherboard. its a stock rom clocked to 1.4ghz and extremely stable. best rom yet! but it will only work on the stick with revision "CYX_809III_RK3188 V2_1 20140208".

Everything works except I can not download to sdcard..

                        I have tried initially cyxtech_rk31_809III_8089_140509_8G2G.img
then tried 3515 ROM from http://pan.baidu.com/share/home?uk=2...ategory/type=0

Strange problem, webbrowser works is not smooth and is jitter but downloading any file can not work at all

edit: I will try to get perfmon on there

I have a day ago tried the ROM you posted here http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...at-1-4ghz-720p

I got HDMI flicker? Seems like my stick may be just a little different. I have 6 of theme here all ordered at the same time, its not a hardware fault just some crap..

                            This will fix it

This is the most stable rom I have ever used. 1.46ghz had no issues at all. Just do a factory reset after first run and check clock and time zone are correct. Its easy to root. :O) Also un-install and re-install flash player to get it working otherwise you will have flash player issues.

                            Root with this http://www.share-online.biz/dl/54FMSCQM0U

How should I flash it? I am using AndroidTool v2.1. Which file I have to use for LOADER, PARAMETER, MISC, KERNEL, BOOT, RECOVERY? Perhaps SYSTEM should by your file which I downloaded from link above.

Can I flash it even when I have currently Android 4.4.2 on stick?

Just flash as usual and it will flash fine over any rom. Just make sure to do a factory reset after flashing.
