Installed firmware tonight. Everything runs smooth and fast until now. Remote is working fine except some keys are swapped.

Loaded this on my um2, Works great. Just one problem every time I boot up the device I have to reset the hard keyboard to off. Anyway I can fix this tiny irksome problem

Standard 1 gib plug and play. Probably, I used this firmware for my Minix Mini X 7.

my question is maybe a little bit off topic. maybe not.

i am trying a lot of different roms for the um2 already and perfectly understand its still work in progress.

now my problem. i am using the stick in the sleepingroom. with xbmc. it slways takes quiet a while to setup xbmx and get it autostarted on startup only to loose everything with the next rom?

is there any solution to that? would it be possible to incorporate xbmc also in the build? and some autostart app?

now a question also to this rom. is it full hd? i have always problems with my sony ex705 getting a flickering screen at 1080i. the screen blacks out every few seconds ...

hello,

i've installed the rom today. here are my results.
the rom runs very smooth. the original remote also works fine.
wlan i've a little worse results as with the neomode kitkat version for um2. but i guess it will work.

hdmi signals works fine with my sony 46ex705 only in 1080 24p mode. with 60hz i've the same problem as with all other roms so far. little black outs every few seconds. somewhere i red it has something to do with the current of the gpu ... with my samsung lcd i dont have any problems. but i've to use it with my sony.

is there any known solution to that? i really would like to use it in 60hz mode.


as mentioned in my post today morning i want to use it with xbmc. so again my usual installation routine.

- hide the status bar
- install xbmc or beyond xbmc still dont know which one to prefer
- install app start application in order to start xbmc on startup

is there any way to automate this or incorporate it in the rom?

I have the same issue with my CS968 but the latest ROM has reduced those blackouts to about once an hour or so. I will still try out this ROM and 24Hz.

is there any way to automate this or incorporate it in the rom?

I think we should be able to backup the "user" partition with the procedure here and restore it back as long as the Android version is the same, though I have not tried this. Somebody correct me if I am wrong here.

i used the rom now for a few days. it is awesome. the little downsides i've postet already. hopefully there is a solution. but i can definitly live with them. the factory remote is really nice and works so fine.

which keys are swapped? i have the experience, that some keys (e.g. numbers) are not working. but the most important ones are.
