Ugoos UM2 - wasser firmware - Kikat Android 4.4.2

hello,

i've installed the rom today. here are my results.
the rom runs very smooth. the original remote also works fine.
wlan i've a little worse results as with the neomode kitkat version for um2. but i guess it will work.

hdmi signals works fine with my sony 46ex705 only in 1080 24p mode. with 60hz i've the same problem as with all other roms so far. little black outs every few seconds. somewhere i red it has something to do with the current of the gpu ... with my samsung lcd i dont have any problems. but i've to use it with my sony.

is there any known solution to that? i really would like to use it in 60hz mode.


as mentioned in my post today morning i want to use it with xbmc. so again my usual installation routine.

- hide the status bar
- install xbmc or beyond xbmc still dont know which one to prefer
- install app start application in order to start xbmc on startup

is there any way to automate this or incorporate it in the rom?

1. autohude status bar will be supported in my next coming 1.0.0 release
2. please install xbmc-13 final release, it works fine my firmware.
3. I don't want to add it to my firmware because i want to keep my firmware clean and smal as i can,

Still no reply about hard keyboard keeps resetting every
Time I boot up..I have to go to settings and switch it off at every boot.anyone out there that can help me cure this problem it would be appreciated..Thanks and regards

Missing something options in android settings

More important remote doesn't work correctly. Only these buttons work: power, up, down, left, right, OK.
Second I am missing options in android settings: cannot figuring where to enable ethernet (toggle), cannot find the change wallpaper option.

Is anybody having these problems? Wasser are you planning to correct this in your next version? Or can you help me configuring it? Thank you in advance!

Thanks for this nice nice solid rom (wasser rom v1.0.1 on Ugoos UM2)

I installed your latest version. You did an Amazing job! You solved almost all bugs, but still remaining:

Wallpaper option in android settings missing.

Remote: great... But some buttons changed place
- Left, right, up, down, OK buttons: all correct
- Numerical buttons: all correct
- Power button: correct
- Return button: correct
- Mute button: correct
- Volume up button: correct
- Volume down button: doesn't work
- Media button: now mouse cursor
- TV button: opens web browser
- Web button: opens recent apps
- App button: doesn't work
- Mouse cursor button: doesn't work
- Menu button: now Home button
- Home button: now Wifi settings
- Backspace button: doesn't work

Hope you can have a look to these minor things.

Try with d33 kernel, the 4.1...i will try it tommorow on a mk908ii...

Everything works good. Apart from the fact that I have to change the default keyboard setting to off every time I boot up. Is there a setting in the system I can change to stop this. Regards

i just red in another fread in this forum in section for cs-919ii that sentence: "All use 1.8V for LCDC support and to prevent screen flickering".

could this be also the solution for my flickering problems with the um2 on my sony screen 46ex705 in full hd mode 60p?

if yes. is it possible to change the voltage in this rom also?

USB doesn't connect

Hı Wasser,

After I flashed with your latest ROM, RKBATCHTOOL cannot find my Ugoos. Instead of that Windows 7 started to install Nexus 7 drivers. I want to install the stock ROM, because I have problems with my Ugoos and I want to send it back to the factory.

Any suggestion?
