Sorry if I'm missing something, but if you build from sources - doesn't it means that you are able to apply the libmedia.so patch on source code level instead of binary - hacking it?

We don't know how patch the sources to apply that. We tried it but no success, as soon we got it we will apply the patch to the rom.

Work on T428, message dmesg for adress rt5616, i2c, but play video nice in mxplayer with DTS, Dolby. XBMC play smooth my 3D movies in 2D whitout passtrought. The best KK ever thank you!

Would someone that flashed the English version of QS3 on a Minix Neo x7 ( not mini ) check to see if XBMC opens after the first run... mine is force closing

I'll probably re-flash in a bit ( likely the Spanish version ) one way or the other after testing a thing or two, but it would be nice to find out if it is my flash or the ROM download itself ( I don't have a MD5 hash util on the netbook I'm flashing with )

Either the EN Rom download is corrupted... or it didn't flash properly the first time around. I didn't chance it... in installed/flashed the ES version and everything worked fine.

Quickshot v2 has been rock solid with the remote/air mouse solve reboots problems with melee f10 and other remotes quickflasher. Does this rom suffer from that issue and if so can I flash the v2 fix to the v3 rom? Thanks guys for all of your efforts. The developers on this site have made the minix neox7 usable.

V2 was a Jellybean version... this is a Kitkat version... the updates/kernels etc are not compatible.

I'm sure they made sure there wasn't the same issues in this version... of course that doesn't mean that new issues won't be found but it's been solid for me ( minus the issue I mentioned above on the EN version ) so far.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I want to flash the Kernel with all stock values other than 720 RAM, which one is that? And is this the one that is still recommended.

I think you flash the rom first. Then unzip the kernels pack. Find the one that says 1080p 720ram the other values will be stock then put that on an sdcard. Put the card in the minix and then open quick flasher and flash that kernal
