Thank you very much Bob, unfortunately in my case it didn't work, the steps I did are:
1- Reinstalled the 1.5 ROM
2- Installed the patch
3- Open Play Store
4- Tried to install paid app (Airtight)
5- Received same error (Couldn't install on USB storage or SD card.)

How do I remove your 1.5 ROM and use lifeforce rom. Since adding ur room the buffering issues are out of control. Thank you. I see in the Readme of ur rom to rename the build, but that dosent allow you to goto lifeforce rom. Every time I try to install lifeforce I get wrong header in e, also when I try to install 5/20 update from theaterinabox.tv get wrong header in e. Thank you

I still have got the problem with the sound that glitches every 5-10 minutes.
Does anyone else have that problem or is it my hardware?
I am using hdmi passthrough.

I don t think so because with the first firmware I had this glitch. But not with 2040512 SW.

Unfortunately, I wrote from experience.
I am a trader, 10pcs out, one pcs device in with this an error will come back.
No improves of none the rom.

the one i tryed is KOT49H-20140512 test-key, kernel 3.10.33.

because it is the same kernel version as finnless it must be a firmware problem or what do you think?

I had the same kind of problem with my G2. I thing it is because of frequencies change.
The latest firmware don't have this glitches
