How to unbrick MK809III / MK809IV after flahing ncr19a made the device vanish??

Hi, i received a MK809IV (board inside says MK809III ) dongle few days ago and could not get a signal out of it to any of our TV's.When i plugged it in (with the PSU provided & with another from my mobile phone just to see that the PSU was good) blue light would come on but but no signal. After i connected the device to my PC Windows 7 found it no problem and i could see what was in there .Everything looked ok but i could not get the device to produce anything on the TV screen.Tried the reset button , nothing.I thought perhaps flashing a custom rom would sort it out ?All went well , installed the drivers provided with the ROM and flash tool found the device , after flash tool had finished Windows recognised the device and started to install a driver or something but could not find suitable one , i am bit hazy what happened nest but the end result was that when i plug the device to my PC now it does not appear at all (blue light comes on though ) .Did i flash a wrong ROM ?Have i bricked my device ?Do i need to short pins ?any ideas would be greatly appreciated as i am very much a noob with these (have flashed few phones and tablets in the past but not one of these).I will attach some pictures to this shortly.

Managed to sort of bringing the stick back to life by shorting 6 & 7 pin on the NAND Flash , installed drivers but if i unplug the usb cable the device does not reappear in Windows upon reconnecting it to the PC?Damaged NAND Flash perhaps?Or maybne im doing something wrong (again) ??Help , please , anyone?

      These are the pins:

shortcut those (just 2 pins: 6 & 7 or 7 & 8, i don't remember) and connect the usb to the OTP port (the one next to the micro sd reader) and keep shortcutting it till you hear the "usb sound" on your PC.

I bought 2 of these, $50 each. 720p sucks and shows lines all over. I installed an MK802III with a 1080p kernel but I have no Wifi. Im about to install an Ethernet card meantime. Looks good @ 1080p with rarely lines showing up, useable at least.

Thank Deroad but I already did that like I noted in my update post.i can see the device now on device manager and have installed proper drivers for it.Even I managed to get one version of Flash tool to find rockusb mask device I cannot do anything to it , all the options fail.

Update: Installed FinlessBOB CX-919 and I have Wifi/Bluetooth... Only thing is native 1080p like my MK808 (good ole MK808 never dies!)

I did notice your boards are red, mine are green. (odd...) The red thingy that sticks out is completely junk unless it's some sort of air breather or something...? I've always had real good luck with FinlessBOB roms!

OH, and I'm running 1800 o/c kernel. Got copper heat sinks on the Rockchip (not on memory or mali so I am just o/c'ing CPU.

Sorry , I had another look at the pic you marked the pins on and noticed I did it other side reading the pins from left to right? I will try the pins you marked when I get home later and let you know what happened , perhaps will get result, thank you

I don't think there is anything wrong with the ROM I just somehow cocked it up myself being a noob as I am .Where did you get a copper heatsink for yours?

those were mine. i have another key, but the hardware looks exactly the same. anyway, you should see something like "USB Rockchip Mask device" once you have that reflash the loader, then boot into the loader mode and flash any rom you want.

Hi, i shorted the pins and received the USB sound and i can see the device, i tried couple flash tools to erase the NAND chip but had some trouble. One sees it but everything fails , the other does not even see the device(pictures provided) , i wonder what i am doing wrong this time .[IMG][/IMG]

                        Code:
                        http://www.****.com/itm/331197121084
They are self-adhesive, all I did was cut a 20mm x 20mm where the pins stick out of the case and only overclocked the CPU.

you know, that there is something called "Print Screen" ? xD
Anyway, use the RKBatchTool, then erase the IDB (Erase Nand) then flash the loader. disconnect the device and set the device to "Loader Mode", then flash again any rom.
