( my tvbox is cs968 v3.6210)
... well i finally load the rom.
i tried all jellybean roms for the cs968 in the past ,

mxplayer always had many lost frames during playback when i send the sound to my home theater with spdif passthrough enabled from tvbox settings menu.
only with beyondxbmc 3.4 and xbmcz i could see videos without many problems.

with this rom for the first time mxplayer have no issues.
i tried many videos and all played without problems.

...but i have problems with xbmcz.
when spdif passthrough is enabled the picture is good ( through tvbox and xbmc settings menu ) but the sound have blanks.
.. also twice the box refuse to start.the blue light was low and never get brighter.
ι pulled out and I put again the power cable to make the box start again.

the rom works great there is only a xbmc spdif passthrough issue

Hi thank you for reply regarding the flashing. I have installed your rom and tried xbmc with mashup with a 1080p stream. I am getting frame drops. wondering if box i have bought is rubbish tbh.

even 720p i am getting odd stutter. My hope was to replace the mx2 dual core boxes I have with these but I am finding it hard to find a rom xbmc that can run properly. I am pulling what hair I have left out.

Any suggestions or help is much appreciated.

( I tried the youtube app with the bunny 1080p video and it seems to work perfect)

Stream problems can be caused by WiFi problems
Try the same file in local and tell us the results.

I suppose that you have in android settings/sound spdif passthrough enabled, and in xbmc settings select system, settings level Expert, in audio output:Enable passthrough, Dolby Digital(E-AC3) capable receiver and DTS capable receiver.

rkbatchtool 1,7 reports that my previous rom has ver.loader 2.07

1. can i try flashing back to jb without erasing nand ?
2. i have a cwm recovery of my jb rom.
in the past i tried a tech1 kit-kat rom
then i restore jb cwm recovery without having any problem.
should i try this again from quickshot v3.1 ?

You can try it. 2.13 loader can be used in KitKat and jb, but remember that if you need to load a 1.xx boot loader then you must follow jdefense procedure.

Leola's in the case of cs968 all 1.xx loader are poison to flash. I got always a brick while flashing a 1.xx bootloader.
That's the reason why every old rk3188 JB ROM with 1.xx loader always brick or loop my cs968.
It is a special Rockship bitch.;-)
Anyway up from 2.7 to 2.13 all bootloader work with JB an kitkat on my cs968 v2.

Right, for that we say that the change from 2.xx to 1.xx is the problem. RK devices are hard to brick permanently, but in some situations are difficult to bring them to life.

I've a hdd mounted in /mnt/usb_storage/DISK0/wd1_2TB
I want to put in /mnt/sdcard/DISK0/wd1_2TB. (for samba filesharing app)
I do this command:
mount -o bind /mnt/usb_storage/DISK0/wd1_2TB /mnt/sdcard/DISK0/wd1_2TB
but it did not work. With the old rom everything was ok.

Hulu PLus - Black Screen

can i anyone confirm if your having issue with the hulu app.

I restored my cr11s with QS 3.1 and installed Hulu app and whenever i play full episode i got black screen covering and audio still works. Playing netflix and vevo works fine. tried removing ABP as well and still same issue.

Update (Solved): did restore hulu from my titanium backup and works fine now. i dont know the reason why i had the issue on hulu from from google play.

same problem!!! but i have a random silences always (when activated spdif passthrough) in youtube, mx player, xbmc perhaps every 5 sec
I have a CR11s 2Mpx.
