    KitKat Kernels(Build on Request)

    Hi

Since most developers decided to drop support for RK3066/RK3188 devices, I will create kernels on request for people that want some.

    Please me give your
    1. Device name
    2. Wifi chip / RTL8188,AP6220,MT5931,ESP8089,RTL8723,RK903,MT7601 etc
    3. TV Stick or TV Box
    4. Platform RK3066/RK3188
    5. SD or HD Kernel
    6. PMU ,ethernet, usb devices(gamepad, audio, camera etc) included
    7. Any other settings.
    8. Dmesg
    9. Wifi GPIO Pin numbers

My time is very limited and I can't test the kernels, so I'll help were I can.

Please test these kernels, don't know if they will boot.
    CYX_809III_ESP8089_Stick_HD

    MK809III_RTL8188_ Stick_SD(Working)
MediaFire is a simple to use free service that lets you put all your photos, documents, music, and video in a single place so you can access them anywhere and share them everywhere.

How to get GPIO Wifi Pin
    1. Must be rooted
    2. Busybox installed.
    3. Run prepare.sh
    4. Run gpio_dump.sh
    Gets saved in sdcard.
Make 4 files and rename them w1b1.txt, meaning w1 = wifi on, b0 = bluetooth off.
    5. Run gpio-find.py or agpio.py to get another file with wifi pin.
    6. Make sure python from playstore is installed.
Use http://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/ to download apps from playstore to pc to Install with flash drive.

    Device: MK802IV, AP6210.

    ROM: Neomode 3.1 ROM, KitKat.

I want kernel based on d33's 4.2, 1080p, but it will not boot as it was said that is compiled for stock ROMs only, not for customs.

No OCs, just stable and fast as much as possible working kernel.

I use final sources from April 2014.
Will try later today and upload basic kernel.

            No
            It's over 4GB.

There is a kernel source on github but it's different.

Don't know if wifi will work with default GPIO pins, will use default settings and see.
Maybe a dmesg or GPIO dump from Jellybean kernel will help if wifi won't work.

              Can you post GPIO dump.
Maybe needed to make wifi work, but will use dafault settings and see.

                    Unfortunately it's only for RK3066/RK3188 TV Boxes/Sticks.
Tablets use cameras, sensors etc that would be too difficult to do.
Also there is a completely different SDK just for tablets that have different drivers etc.
Unless you have the tablet kernel source and config file, it won't work.
Maybe look for a custom rom for your tablet.

I would like to request a kernel for this new stick CYX_809III_RK3188 , the default kitkat kernel is locked

                      Device Name: CYX_809III_RK3188
                      Wifi: ESP8089
                      Bluetooth MT6622N
                      RK3188T
                      SD/HD
                      Asix Ethernet driver

I've attached dmesg, unfortunately i've no idea how to get a gpio dump, i've the esp8089 kernel module if that can help

                        Thank you for reply.

Is it possible for you to download d33's one with name kernel_AP6210_v400_testers made for Ugos, which is the only kitkat 1080p kernel working on my MK802IV New WiFi on Neo's 3.1 ROM.

It has very nicely solved resolutions

                        1080px60
                        1080px50
                        1080ix60
                        1080ix50
                        1080px24

Only problem I had is fullhd videos are not perfect, little bit laggy. The kernel was not OC, it is regular 1.6Gz, NoGPU nor DDR OC.

Could you make newer D33's 4.2 kernel compiled to work on non-stock ROMs, with solved video playback of fullhd content.

                          Mk809III
                          RTL8188eu(old wifi)
                          TV Stick
                          RK3188
                          SD

a kernel that could be overclocked would be nice
