You should be able to use rkpatchomatic to overclock it.

Follow thread #1 and #61 here

then post the ones from the kernel where wifi is working.

                1. Must be rooted
                2. Busybox installed.
                3. run prepare.sh
                4. run gpio_dump.sh
                gets saved in sdcard.
Make 4 files and rename w1b1.txt, meaning w1 = wifi on, b0 = bluetooth off.
                5. run gpio-find.py or agpio.py to get another file with wifi pin.
                6. Make sure python from playstore is installed.
Use http://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/ to download apps from playstore to pc to install with flash drive.
MediaFire is a simple to use free service that lets you put all your photos, documents, music, and video in a single place so you can access them anywhere and share them everywhere.

Will also try with pin RK30_PIN3_PD2 & GPIO_High/Low and different voltage later.

                        Can you also run GPIO_find.py?
You run it on the 4 w1b1 etc. files and it finds the correct one for wifi.

I tried to make kernels for RK903 previously, but couldn't get wifi working.
Maybe you can test some and see if they work later.

All the GPIO outputs are the same (see dmesg in previous post) therefore the python scripts can't detect the correct ones. It is kind of weird because I did switch on/off wifi and BT.
It does look like the MK808B is kind of the same, but you already knew that (link).

If you don't get it to work on your MK808B, then why would it work on the Minix X5?

So far I am still happy with my stable 4.2.2 rom, but if kitkat kernels, modules, system are stable I will definately switch.

It's already included in all Jellybean and KitKat roms.
Or do you want a kernel with 8192cu enabled as wifi?
