Neomode Custom Rom MK809III MTK WiFi Version 0.9

no matter what I try, it seems I can't root this ROM i'm trying with kingo, but it won't recognize my stick...tried with different comps, win8 and win xp too...

is there a chance to get this ROM already rooted?

Ok, i finally rooted my device. the problem was in installing ADB drivers (http://www.droidextra.org/2013/02/06...id-device.html)

now with cifsmanager i can mount network shared folder (on my windows 8 machine), but I can't see the files in that shared folder!?!? tried mount manager too with same result. network folder is shared ok, but still emtpy when i check that folder with some file manager (tommy). wht can I do?

Had a play with both roms, 4.2 and 4.4, both run well, however wifi on 4.2 connects at 65mbps and works fine, wifi on 4.4 connects at 5mbps and can barely load websites, nevermind stream or download.

Next, any chance of a 1080p kernel for 4.2 it looks so much better, also at stock 1.4 clocks please (mine green flickers with OC).

No issues on 4.4 here. I have full bars, 65Mbps, but I am transmitting 1watt on my Nighthawk router, not sure if that helps or not..but I am sure it does. But I get no disconnects. Only on Bluetooth A2DP. On keyboard/mice they reconnect and keep working fine, just no audio. Using d33 kernel 4.25

Hello Community,

Here is my Rom for the owner of the MK809III with the MTK WiFi Chipset.
This Rom is rooted and all Bloadware is removed.

What Works?
All should Work, but i have no MK809III with this new WiFi Chipset to Test Wifi and Bluetooth.

What is included?
- GAPPS
- SuperUser
- FreakBrowser a Web Browser from Freaktab :-)
- XBMC 13
- Reboot App
- Terminal Emulator

I also included 2 OC Kernels you find this in the Image Directory of the Rom.
They only OC the GPU and Run fine on mine Device but no Garanty.

- Name of shortcuts are not visible, i tried diffrent launcher like S Lancher, Smart lancher, Kitkat launcher all have same problem.
- Video quality is not very Good
- Mouse Cursor is not moving smoothly, It lag, specially on Browser.

KitKat Beta is out please Test it and Report back because i have no Stick with MTK Wifi.
The Kernel is 720p only at the Moment.

the ROM is not rooted, right? I tried many ways to root it, but without success. Any chance for rooted, Wifi-speed-improved, 1080p-version?
