All of my ROMs flash from the RK Flash Tool. Have you asked for support from the forum you got the other custom ROM from?

Its hard to say what the problem might be.

Try holding the power button down for a while and see if you can at least get it to turn off.

Thanks for the response kind sir. Actually the thread of the ROM is quite dead already and through browsing I found yours. I used the Kasty something ROM. Everything worked out properly till it was completed. But then again, the device was vibrating through the process and thought it was normal. Then it won't boot up anymore. Is there a way I can flash it back to 4.2.2 which is the orignal firmware? Your reply would be greatly appreciated.

By the way sir, Yes I can turn it off. But whenever I turn it on again, it started vibrating like crazy. I hope you can help me with this one.

Re: iFive 3 Retina RileyROM 1.0 KitKat

You can't just flash back to a JB ROM from KK without going through some steps that reformats all of the partitions. Otherwise you will brick your tablet. Have you tried flashing my ROM?

The trouble with these iFive tablets is that it doesn't allow you to erase NAND through the flash tool...like other brands. But flashing seems to go OK without it. At this point it wouldnt hurt to try the RileyROM to see if it solves your problem. Otherwise...see what Kasty says. I can't really provide support for his ROM because I don't make my ROMs the same way he does.

I truly appreciate your time on answering all my queries kind sir. Actually I also downloaded your ROM. But I have no idea how to use it since when I tried flashing my device, I just used the Rockchip Batch tool and flash it right away. But since there are multiple program that comes with your download, is it okay if you guide me through on how to flash using your ROM. I will be forever indebt if you could help me with this ordeal I am having at the moment.

There is a PDF file in the zip that takes you through the whole process. First Time User's Guide.

Thanks Riley for answering all my queries. I think I was able to flash my tab using your ROM but still no good. You think it would do any good to look for a custom rom 4.2.2 since it's the stock version of the ROM of my device?

I haven't tried flashing back to JB on one of these iFive's. Since you can't erase idb...I don't know what will happen. It's pretty risky.

I can see that risk involve but it feels I'm going nowhere with my device. So, I guess I'll take all the risk and see what will happen. By any chance, do you have a custom rom for 4.2.2 for IFiveMini 3 Retina Riley?
