    Unzip / Unrar it.
Navigate to your unzipped / unrared directory.
    Start ROM_Flash_Tool_137

Ok and here it gets "a little bit" tricky.

You just want to flash the new rom? 720p? No OC? Dont change ANYTHING!
You want to use 1080p? Open in another window your unzipped directory. Navigate to Images. Look at the filenames. -> 1080p without OC - you have to change the filenames (by clicking into the cell) in the ROM_Flash_Tool_137 to the corresponding filename (e.g. kernel1080 and boot1080).
You want to use 1080p and OC? Same as before. Just change to the corresponding filenames.

If you are struggling - i can make you a screenshot...

(ye i know my english confuses often people... i just to do my very best )
i have this device. I have flashed yet but it doesnt boot-up ? I have a CRT TV and There is no image on screen.

Well. I couldnt figure it out yet but i believe that this Rom doesnt support AV out. Can you side test it in an HDMI device if the mk918 dos work properly after flashing nepumuks custom Rom?

Otherwise you need to flash one oft these stock Roms again.

Please be aware that you use the other flash tool from the "Rettungspaket" that is provided in the Start post aswell.

it seems that AV out doesn't work, i will try to fix it in next coming versions.
i have no AV equipment, but i will try to organize an old TV and test my kernel

sorry, but you have to go to a stock image for the moment, because of the broken AV feature

And i have to say - the whole screen output looks just now pretty much sharpend.

If this works properly (1080p Kernel + OC) i will be the happiest man on earth. In Germany. In this flat. In this room.

                        /E:

                        Nearly 18.000 Antutu Points. Great!

Sadly my Gbit/s USB Adapter won't work (just my slow 100MBit/s :X) - i ve send you an link via PN with the Linux (and Android) files to compile and integrate it - could you please be so kind?!
If compare between this rom(MK918 KitKat Customrom) and update_mk918_206j2105_overseas.rar which one it's better than?
Now I just flashed 205j2104 oversea img rom. it's ok but antutu test slow than stock rom. In the future, would like to flash kitkat rom and waiting stable rom.

                          Hi dekmaidee255,

well - if your device is capable to work with the oc kernel by nepumuk you should definetly go for this rom and using the oc kernel. It's very fast and smooth. I can report that my device is not completely stable using this oc kernel (first freeze after 48h nonstop uptime).
To fix that issue nepumuk send me another 1080p kernel with a slightly lower, but more stable oc (his words ). All i can say about this - i was unable to get it work till now (i will try a few things - different settings, etc.).

So all i can recommend for now: Test the 1080p OC version. If it works for you without freezes - be happy. If it wont work stable - try the normal 1080p kernel (have not tested yet). I am quite sure that this will be the solution for a fast and reliable ROM.

Otherwise you can use the 206j. I've used it for about 3 days without any breakdown or freeze. It gave me round about 15.800 antutu points (nearly 1.000 more than under 205j). Enough for 1080p + DTS. Just use MX Player and use H/W+ Decode (u need to download custom DTS Codecs due to some creepy lawyers forced MX project to remove the codecs..)

                          Kind regards.
                          Kind regards Snuffy

Am I correct in assuming the OC kernels won't work on Throttled RK3188T chips?

maybe they will be work with your box, but on some boxes they don`t work properly

I've got a nice issue / i am aware of it and fix it right now (waiting for amazon to deliver )

You use OC kernel by nepumuk? Your device doesn't stay stable or goes into a boot loop?
Maybe it's your power supply. I've measured it with a voltmeter and got amazing 1.2A out of it. Not the promised 2A. This is just enough to work with the stock ROM, but if you use the OC version it just crashes at random moments (managed to view several minutes 1080p for one time, another time it went into bootloop.)

So i've ordered another psu with 3A and 5V (Ampere is absolutely unimportant but DONT use more than 5V. It would burn your device.)
                                Kind regards Snuffy
