My MK918 is very picky with DDR frequencies, everything over 566 Mhz doesn't work

I have a cs918/t-r42 model with rtl8723 wifi chipset your kernel include these? I believe mk918 is for ap6210 wifi only. Will try but useless for me if no wifi connection. Maybe you could make a kernel with rtl8723 support and I would be a happy camper....... I could use the wasser 1.0.3 kernel but would rather see what you have done as still gettting some 1080p hdmi timeout with the wasser kernel. Thanks very much for your hard work glad to see other people are jumping into the rom dev arena besides our big 4..............

    Cheers,

      Hello nepomuk,

one small question - is it necessary to reflash the old loader file (you use v2.13?), when i want to use the original roms again? (they come in one big rom file and need the other flash tool...)
      Kind regards Snuffy

This is a KitKat Rom, so you have to flash the new loader.
v1.xx is for JB 4.2, v2.xx is for KK 4.4

With this flash tool you can select every .img file separately, you can also change app space size (parameter2gb/4gb) and/or boot.img/boot1080.img /different kernel

Flashing done. "Box is setting up, please wait..." right now (since 3-5min - i am a lil bit nervous ..)

And i have to say - the whole screen output looks just now pretty much sharpend.

If this works properly (1080p Kernel + OC) i will be the happiest man on earth. In Germany. In this flat. In this room.

              /E:

              Nearly 18.000 Antutu Points. Great!

Sadly my Gbit/s USB Adapter won't work (just my slow 100MBit/s :X) - i ve send you an link via PN with the Linux (and Android) files to compile and integrate it - could you please be so kind?!

Works great on the MK802IV T version.

Only think not working is location services.

                              Download the file.
                              Unzip / Unrar it.
Navigate to your unzipped / unrared directory.
                              Start ROM_Flash_Tool_137

Ok and here it gets "a little bit" tricky.

You just want to flash the new rom? 720p? No OC? Dont change ANYTHING!
You want to use 1080p? Open in another window your unzipped directory. Navigate to Images. Look at the filenames. -> 1080p without OC - you have to change the filenames (by clicking into the cell) in the ROM_Flash_Tool_137 to the corresponding filename (e.g. kernel1080 and boot1080).
You want to use 1080p and OC? Same as before. Just change to the corresponding filenames.

If you are struggling - i can make you a screenshot...

(ye i know my english confuses often people... i just to do my very best )
                              Kind regards Snuffy
