      FYI

Tested this firmware on my Beelink X5II (v3,0 pcb). Thought it comes closer to the hardware components (RK3188T, AP6210 wifi).

All i can say is WOW, EVERYTHING WORKS.

      Wifi, OK
      Bluetooth, OK
      Ethernet, OK
      IR Remote, OK
      Sound, OK
Video playback, OK (Near perfect, don't think Rockchip can yet match Amlogic in video).
XBMC v13.2 beta2 OK, no crashing yet.
      KitKat, is just awesome.

PS, used the 720p OC'ed kernel, Overclocking works.

      WELL DONE Nepumuk...

      PS2. Some further testing.
1st kitkat boot to home screen was relatively fast. I set-it up, all was OK.
2nd boot from power-up took really long time in bootanimation (thought it was stack), do not know why. But it finally booted OK.
3rd (and next) boot from power-up never completes, stalling in bootanimation.

Will try the T-kernel without OC.

I found whats causing the stall on boot.
        Its the tv detection routine.

When i moved the box back on my desk to reflash, (connected to an hdmi monitor) the boot was normal.
Moving back on the tv, stalls in bootanimation.
Tested 3-4 times to be sure.

        @Nepumuk
Can something be done for this?

Thanks for a great rom anyway...

Have you connected via AV to your TV?

No, as there is no AV out on X5II. Only HDMI.

OK, it will be difficult for me to find the Problem with your specific TV, because with my TV there isn't such an issue and i have integrated an EDID patch, which solves such problems with problematic TV's

                No worries, i undestand.
You cant solve every little detail for everyone...

I will stick with your rom, it works perfectly, and i will just leave the box on for as long as possible.
Connected to my tv It takes ages to boot but it finally boots, and everything works.

                I am happy...

Not sure if it helps but switching inputs.on the TV with the remote might help.
I have an old set top box that would freeze on boot up until I changed the input from hdmi1 to hdmi2 and back again.

                    Servus,

great job, can I use the LAN adapter and nearly smooth Full HD movies playback.

One more question, sound comes through the AV jack?

Image via HDMI I have, but I would like to have sound via jack. Is that possible?

Can one tell whether sound via TOSLINK (optical output) would work me?

I do not have cable at home for testing! If the operation would, I would buy a cable.

Sorry for my not so good English.

integrated LAN is a shitty piece of hardware, but you can use a faster external dongle.
Playback of full HD movies is for me perfect, i use 1080i60 screen resolution and sound via hdmi with overclocked 1080p kernel.

sound via AV and TOSLink not tested

                        yes that's true!

I also use an external dongle (LogiLink USB 2.0 / LAN 1000MBits)

This Works Perfect now! Without preferences.

Unfortunately I use the Android Box on a 27 inch LED monitor via DVI / HDMI adapter. The monitor has no speakers.

I have AV Sound tested, this works definitely not. To TosLink to testing, my cable is missing.

I then wait probably just a little, maybe yes then sometime Supports AV sound!

Anyway, that's been a class work! Respect!

I picked up a second mk918 box very cheaply which was running stock 203 kernel but it was very unstable. Wifi dropped out, apps crashed, nothing would install.

I flashed this 720 overclock kernel and it runs much better, very stable, and got 18150 on antutu.

                          This is brilliant.

Thank you so much for this, please keep up the amazing work.

                          Cheers

Yes I flashed version 0.2 and it works very well.
It is very stable, very fast and the only issue I had was with XBMC had trouble with my network shares.
Not sure why, but ES File Explorer and MX player have no problems and work perfectly.
I didn't try the remote this time, I am using an air mouse, the tronsmart TSM01, which is brilliant.
But the standard remote didn't work last time so I doubt it will work on this box. I may try a harmony remote with different codes for the 31 button remote and see if that works.
