the RileyRom is a bit buggy. I do not recommend to install this. Riley will soon release a new firmware. A new stockfirmware in version 2.0.0 will be released soon. A few people already got the update OTA but it seems that FNF has deleted the upgrade yet. I think Riley will wait for the next one.
Meanwhile I recommend you to install the stockrom and to root it by yourself.

You flash the firmware in the same way as you flashed Riley s Rom before: Flashtool - Loading scatter - Download - Connect powered off device
You can download my v 2.0.0 backup from the xda mini 3gs thread if you like. But I think it doesn't matter if you install 1.1.2 or 2.0.0.
Feel free to post further questions.

Aspect Ratio : 4:3 is great for reading
Retina Screen : The quality is very good.
General aspect quality looks like big brand device.
General responsiveness, is good enough for most of usages.
Multitouch is good. no sensitivity problem.
Cons :
Unstable, I personally experience some problem related to the power management. (shutdown if ambient temperature is low, self reboot when charging.)
The main bars (back, home, recents) and the status bar disappear sometimes on reboot.
Sound could be better, not loud enough when the ambient noise is high.
Not reviewed : 3G and telephony

@ Riley: I suggest to remove your rom until you have another fully working one. Some users seem to have heavy problems flashing it.

Hahaha!!!!
If you read the title of this thread, it's v1.2...which was based on an earlier version of the firmware which was configured differently. The instructions I gave are valid for the 1.2 ROM.
I updated the ROM to v1.3...in the same section. With that ROM, the configuration changed to all apps and userdata to share the same partition, so the EBR2 files don't exist. While people were having trouble with v1.2, v1.3 was much better....and v1.4 will be better, too.
I'm trying the best that I can to keep track of hundreds of ROM's I've done. I've requested Finless to divide the MTK Tablet section into sub forums for Cube, iFive and Other MTK Tablets. The iFive section will have a Current ROM's forum and an Archived ROM's forum so you and I won't be so confused.
Anyway...I've made a new RileyROM v1.4 based on this new v2.0.0 firmware version. Stay Tuned for a new thread as soon as I get it uploaded.Randy

Going back safely to 1.2
I upgraded recently to the official 442V2.0.1 and would like to go back to an earlier version in order to resolve a possible app compatibility issue (among other problems).
I try to flash RileyRom 1.2 with Flashtool but it fail with the error: "PMT changed for the ROM, it must be downloaded."
I presume it is related to the partitioning changes but have no idea how to revert safely to 1.2 or 1.2.1, maybe something with the scatter file? I just don't want to take any chance and brick the tablet.
Any help greatly appreciated!

I haven't tried to revert back to the older ROM's, so I don't know for sure what behavior it has.
First of all, you need to back up your IEMI and NVRAM files because this process will erase them. Also, anything saved to your internal SD will be erased.
Change the flash mode from "download only" to "format + download". This will wipe the whole NAND flash memory and allow you to complete flash a fresh ROM. Boot first to recovery and do a wipe/factory reset to format all of the partitions...then reboot to system.Randy
