Let me rephrase the question. Who is the manufacturer and what names are on the box so we dont make the same mistake.

for example Geekbuying selling MX boxes for $50 but they've admitted that the PCB is different (lower quality) ...

Hi I recently had a problem with my mx box were I had power but me tv saying no signal , I was giving e file matricom zip file
and told to do the tooth pic method so I tried it n the no signal went n me screen white n now I'm gettin a black screen ......
if I take the sd card out n try lower it up it goes back to no signal


I was told if I keep the toth pic I. With my sd card in android man should eventually Appear with this method
but after me screen flashes white I get nothing but black screen
many help on this please thanks

Only to check if I understand it correctly:
1. If you start your MX you get no output at TV ("No Signal ..." at TV)?
2. If you use the SD card (with 'Matricom G-Box Midnight MX2 1.15+') and toothpick at AV you get first a white screen at TV for a moment and after a moment a black screen?

Yes mate that's what is happening exactly mate

OK, that means, something's happen during 2.
Because the flashing need at less 5 minutes maybe give the process 10-15 minutes at black screen before you unplug the PSU (and don't release the reset before e.g. 1 minute)...

(also only an idea, but at the device of Oversole it seams to fixes the "No Signal...")

EDIT: I think he mean v1.00 and not v0.10

That happened to my boxes few times , Forget the Blank screen and no signal Keep pushing reset button with a toothpick about a minute...

leave the box alone and check if the FW installed about an half an hour time...

Despite there was no signal in the beginning My boxes turned back to life by this way.
