      Not coping all data

Is really wierd on one m8 it it worked straight away no issues on the other 2 it did not replace the xbmc with the one from the image or the data folder. Anyone else had this issue. would re-flashing more than once be an option

        Great work Abdul.

I had some problems starting TWRP at first. The standard recovery menu kept appearing. But when I removed my SD-card TWRP was there.

        So far working great.

Same here Ive done 3 boxes backing up and restoring from the same SD card, with no problem, this fourth box just wont restore the xbmc files.

Only an idea but maybe it depends on v.91 and v.92 of PCB?

Were the box's all on the same FW version?
Can you try to restore to the one not working properly and get me the recovery.log and a dmesg ?

After the restore, still on recovery, enter adb shell do dmesg > /tmp/dmesg.txt , exit , adb pull tmp/dmesg.txt and adb pull tmp/recovery.log upload them please.

all my boxes were same box on same FW. I installed TWRP then went to restore ticked everything to restore and let it does it's magic. it is fantastic work Abdul. just few bugs need ironing out. I will wipe a box in morning and re flash. Will get logs for you also.

I don't know if this is possible at all but this would be awesome for MX2 boxes.

No I'm happy to learn looks like i gotta crack open the box and insert a jumper so that it is recognised.
Its funny I bought 10 boxes for family and friends and the first 3 restored no problem, since i have tried another 3 and all of them don't restore xbms, I've tried wiping everything, complete erase with the same result.

                            XBMC Data

                            Hello All,

has anyone figured out how to get the XBMC Data to backup and restore? I select all backup folder options but still nothing. Thank you.

                                Log options maybe

                                G'day
                                Found this yesterday

Maybe an easy option to use to get log info
It pumps out a lot of info maybe to much or info not required.
Could someone in the know(more experience than I) have a look and advise

                                Cheers.
