It isn't an active feature in KitKat, however there is an Xposed Framework module that activates it.

Trouble is...Xposed Framework can cause other problems...especially if you are using ART.

There is also a fix posted over on Arctablet that involves editing some system files. I tried it, but it didn't work for me.

I'm using ART and Xposed on the PIPO P1 Tablet -> without any problems.

That's impossible. Whenever you activate xposed. It always reverts back to Dalvik. Even when you choose ART after that, after reboot, it always reverts back to Dalvik.

Wow.... you are totally correct... I thought that it was running under ART runtime, but I have checked it again and it has reverted to Dalvik.

              Hi,
forgive me, but can I ask about a "summary" of the things which are actually working on P1 with this release of Riley's rom?

I heard about a lot of problem with battery charging: are they resolved? Average autonomy in hours with 1.3 rom???

Other relevant issues which still remains?

Many thanks in advance for every such information U can spare!

Which recover button are you talking about ?
Are you able to access the recovery and/or bootloader ?

Reset, sorry. After 3 trys with the reset button the tablets is working again. all works fine with this firmware, but I can't connect my moga pro bluetooth gamepad in hid mode. And after disable bluetooth the tablet enable bluetooth by himself again. EDIT: Same Problem with original Pipo Firmware. Controller works fine on another android device.

Update: Gamepad connects now but tablet only register input for ~30 seconds.

The wifi version is the same as this ROM.

I'm working on a new 3G version with that update. Hopefully there will be a wifi version soon, too.

The 3G ROM should work on your tablet, but you may get a little less battery life due to the extra 3G services running in the background.

v1.4 is now ready for download. This is for the 3G tablets only right now. It will boot on the wifi version, but results may vary....mainly with increased battery consumption.
