    An off-topic question.
Has anyone found a replacement digitizer and/or other parts for our tablet?

I have read a few people who have been able to install the drivers in Windows 8.1, but the process isn't mainstream/reliable.

I refuse to upgrade my kitchen laptop to 8.1 for that reason...if it ain't broke...don't fix it, right?
LOL Rriley.both my desktop and my laptop are running 8.1.
I will try Monday to make it at a friend of mine.
Thank you and Happy new year.

    1. Have you installed the drivers? If not, read the steps in the First Time User's Guide.
    2. Try a different cable...it's better to use the one that came with the tablet.
    3. Use a USB 2.0 port...not USB 3.0.
Installed the drivers, using original cable on USB 2.0
    Maybe it's because i have Windows 8.1...

I will try to install some apps that are install partially on SDCARD, like games (Asphalt 8), to see if all works.
Thanks a lot for this modification, I think now this tablet is much more usable than before.

If somebody is interested, GPS reception on this tablet is poor (like on many chinese phones that I had before (Jiayu, Zopo, ...), maybe it works if I am outside somewhere with no buildings (not tested yet), but inside, near to window (where TCL Idol X catch GPS fast and without problems), I can see only one satellite, nothing else. Maybe I will try to play with some GPS settings, if it will help.

    Thanks again for help.
Ooook,i'm tryng to flash the modified boot.img, but when i hit download, nothing happened.
Please help,i wanna swap tablet memory with my sdcard badly
