    there also exist different WiFi/BT chip-sets at v1,1 (AP6330 vs. yours)...

    I don't think that it really helps, but you can do a
    lsmod
    at your stock fw(kernel) and look if you can identify kernel object(s) for WiFi/BT and try to use/load it at another fw(kernel) with
    modprobe
    (of cause you have, if exist, to save the .ko from the original fw to the fw you want to use/try)

          Just a little fyi, the Tronsmart_S89_Standard&Elite_108K4_140811.zip can be flashed, using the usb burning tool, on this device if you really broke something. Then flash a rom as you would normally from usb or sd through recovery. I have tried finless 1.9 and for me ethernet & wifi dont work; I have a v1.3 pcb.

          This is the newest official stock for this device (though is ships with 0801), site reads 0805 but its 0725:

                I cant turn on the box from standby with 108k and applications like abtutu ,speedtest not working in landscape mode like the official hindotech FW thats why I do recommend you guys to use the FW from Hindotech...

                IF YOU want to TRY S89/s2 FW and Getting YOUR CURRENT FW IS NEWER OR YOUR DEVICE IS NOT S89/82 kind of ERRORS

                  See now I had made the same modification to the updater script myself, and signed it.
                  But the keys I'm using must be wrong because I get a footer error afterwards.

                  Do you happen to have a backup of the 0801 system it ships with ?

                            I too would like to know if Bob could make a Finless rom for this box as well that has a working Wifi and Bluetooth. I too have the AM908A_V1.1_14165 version without the ap6330 wifi. Help! This is a big deal breaker if wifi and bluetooth don't work.

                              Did you ever find a solution for this board? I really would like to use bob's finless rom with this board and also hoping to get Bluetooth working. Says on the box that it has bluetooth 4.0 but I have the same PCB 1.1 board as you so not sure if this board has a working bluetooth or not.

                              Any help would be great. I think this board is pretty good with everything that it is offering but without good firmware, it might as well be junk.
