The version I tried was the 20120908 release. I've not yet seen an update to it that would fix the g sensor with the Polaroid tablets.

Yes that is the one and the G sensor doesn't work...I am sticking with it however as I really don't care. If someone could come up with a fix for that piece this ROM would be pretty close to perfect for this model. If anyone figures out how to get it working please let us know!

I will put up a link to this ROM tonight in case anyone is interested in checking it out...

In the most recent batch of files posted by William Kleiman (link at the top of the current page) in the live_suite_imgs folder, you'll find "tragic-hyper-recovery.img". You'd probably have to download the whole thing to see if it's the same file or different than the one you tried.

Has anyone tried to install the new releases on a pmid4311 (or one sibling -- Emerson or Uniden) and been successful? If so would you please post the order of install if the files used as I haven't had any luck so far given that the new thread on how-to was never started.

          Thanks

Installed? Yes. Succeeded? No. If nothing else, the combined size of CM10 and the compatibility package is far too big to fit in the space allocated for system files. I've been trying to develop a slimmed-down package but haven't gotten anything that works yet.

[email protected] (the original poster of this thread)'s last post, right after posting updated files said "ill be starting a new thread tonight after work and hope to clear things up for people." I don't see that that ever occurred. So...

Can someone update the instructions for installing this? With the "new" file location, I'm not finding some of the files referenced in the first post of this thread. For example, the 2nd step refers to ROM_WIPER.ZIP, which I don't find.

In the 3rd step, it says to install CM10 / JellyBean base and tells you to "highlight your downloaded CM10 ROM". Where do I find that? The "roms" directory (Polaroid\roms\Jelly Based) only has a pair of gapps files.?

In step four, where the instructions mention CM10_Polaroid-PMID702c_20120830.zip, is that where I'd go with Polaroid\compatibility_zips\sun5i-based\JB-CM-AOKP\PMID702c-OTA_v3-JB_boot.zip (I'm using a PTAB7XC, which is compatible with the 702c)? What about CM10-BOOT_sun5i-Tragidy-HyperMali-c.2.6.zip ... which tablet is that for?

I'm definately interested in trying this out, but am quite unsure as to how to properly do it.

I'm also interested in trying JB out on my PTAB7XC. Can anyone help with this?

The hypermali Rom is for the 702/703c. It started out as a ICS rom for the ployer momo 9 ,and the kernel of the rom and the modules that came with it were moved to a JB stack. The Hypermali runs at 1.2 ghz instead of the normal polaroid kernel speeds of 1.0 ghz. It can also be overclocked with some stability issues to 1.5 ghz.

                      Hope this answers some questions.

Looks like I showed up late to the party.
I can't seem to find the files the OP refers to?

if you want better battery life, just download root explorer, go to /system/app and deleter the phone.apk. reboot and enjoy new battery life ;-)

Where can you download root explorer from without having to use the Market/Google Play etc. Thanks to whoever knows.

If at all possible would someone care to share the 702/703 compatibility zips?
or point me where they might be. Goo docs link is dead.
