        Tronsmart Vega Remote

The Remote that came with the Tronsmart Vega works perfectly with the Beelink R89. Should not be a surprise though since this is probably the same remote that comes with the Beelink R89.

I have an tronsmart vega to, but mine does not work. Did you change some settings?

I also have the Tronsmart Vega S89-H and the remote worked flawlessly. As a matter of fact that remote is awesome inside XBMC. All my other Android boxes, I just tossed the included remote in my scrap box, but this remote is great. Not sure why your remote doesn't work. It worked for me using the R89 out of the box.

The S89 remote works for me. Also, a Logitech MK270 mouse/keyboard combo works great.

All tested on initial firmware with OTA update done.
                  1. Logitech k400 works ok. The power off buton which works in other devices does not work here.
                  2. Old usb stick Kingston Data Traveler 8GB works with no issues.
                  3. AV out works (not fully plugged) but the audio is missing). Probably due to the not fully plugged cable. This was tested on prehistoric Panasonic. It's about 30 years old
                  4. Old sharp 42" lcd tv is working. No sound output via hdmi.
                  5. Samsung SyncMaster 931BW working ok with HDMI->DVI cable.
                  6. Spdif to sony amplifier works, but sound is 44.1kHz, not 48.
                  7. All sd cards from 2 - 8 gigs work.
                  8. An ancient logitech wireless mouse works well.

IR Remote - Potential sensitivity issues

With my R89 on my desk in close proximity the remote works flawlessly. However, when I put the box on my AV equipment shelf which is about 6 feet away from my HT seating position, the R89 responds poorly. On the Vega I am getting perfect responses from 16 feet away. Potentially an opto-electronic gain issue on the R89 optical sensor?

Maybe the other Remote owners could check the distance/offset angle performance of the Remote/R89 combo.

Main Area of the IR receiver Led blocked by the Top Solid part of the casing!

With my Tronsmart S89H remote, I am able to use it from approximatly 12 feet. But sometimes the "clicks" don't register, and not sure it is because of remote.

Interesting though, I programed my Logitech universal remote (Harmony 670) from my Tronsmart remote, and it will work from around 20' and pointed upward around 30 degrees. But again, sometimes the "clicks" do not register. I think, perhaps the sensor is not receiving the input all the time, if that makes sense.

Agree, it would be better to place the unit on the top shelf than on the bottom shelf.
