The one I downloaded from my Pipo source is the 3G version dated today. I'm sure it matches your wifi version dated 9/9...so I will be making v1.7 for 3G and wifi.

Let's hope the battery/Facebook problems are fixed.

Sometimes I'm asked why I always start a new thread for each ROM. First of all, it's a tradition started by our founder Finless Bob. It's how we started Freaktab, and I'm carrying on the same format.

Secondly, if I kept the same thread for each device, there would be literally thousands of posts in each thread, and it would be extremely hard for people to follow what's going on with a particular ROM. If someone wants to keep posting comments about an older ROM, they can still do so without totally confusing people as to which ROM they are talking about. You are always free to look up an earlier ROM in the archives sub-forum and refer to it and post comments there any time. Those threads are kept open for a reason.

Thirdly, we are always at the mercy of Pipo or any other manufacturer for the reliability of their firmware. Just because it's newer doesn't necessarily mean it's better. Often users decide that a previous release works better for them. That's your choice, and certainly doesn't hurt my feelings to say so. In my job, I'm a user of various forms of software...and updates which are designed to fix certain problems can sometimes break other things...so unless you are a flashaholic like me...you aren't required to flash every ROM that comes out. Just wait for the flashaholics to report their findings with a particular ROM...there are plenty of testers.

I find that while there are thousands of views on these threads, only a few people actually participate in posting the good, the bad, and the ugly on these ROM's. Freaktab is a community designed to provide you a venue to read and share information. Don't be bashful...we would love to hear from you!!!!!!!!!! I'm very passionate about bringing you my best with each ROM, and the more comments you post keeps me looking for other ways to help improve on my work.
