OK so then... it was something I did to system.img that I have always done but did not work on JB.
Maybe my debloat removed something? Or my Google patches to give full play store (which as you see is an issue)? Or something along that line. I cannot believe it is how I make the EXT4 file system but I suppose that could be it too.

I will work with 900 to see what the difference is. I want to be able to make a JB system.

Here's a system.img

rename the original system.img from bob's rom kit and unzip the above download and place with the other images.

Now flash the ROM as you would for Bob's ROM ensuring you format the IDB.

On first start up you will go to clockwork as normal, press power to re-boot. The tab should now start up showing my cube u30gt animation (we need to know it's my system.img booting). If all goes well you should have a rooted JB tablet with English.

I'm not being ambitious with this image, merely concentrating on root, de-bloat can follow once we have root.

Hi, i flashed the Rom with latest Finless state and got stuck like gandalf10 in posting #23 (bootscreen).
Now i want to flash with system.img from 900supersport.
Do i have to use CWM, if yes, how?
At the moment i am only able to go to adb-mode (on stuck bootscreen) but adb doesn't work.
I would be glad if someone could help me, at the moment i can't go back and forth

you could try some of the ideas in the following thread

I'd be tempted to connect the tab, start the flash tool then power up the tab. With a bit of luck the tab will be recognised and you will be able to click the button to re-start in flash mode.

Failing this hold the power button for 15 seconds to force the tab off and try the normal process for boot to flash, I think this is covered earlier and in the readme

LoneRanger: I agree with 900SuperSport, so to break it down try this:
1. Powered off the tablet (by holding down the power button for a while)
2. Make sure you don't have any power cable in the tablet
2. Insert USB cable in tablet
4. Hold down the + volume button on tablet
5. Insert USB cable in PC and release + volume button when computer acknowlege the tablet
6. Insert power cable in tablet
7. Start the "Finless ROM Flash Tool" from Bobs zip file. If it says "Found RKAndroid Loader Rock Usb", then you can continue with step 8. Otherwise try from 1 above (or look at the link 900 provided)
8. Use the "Erase NAND (IDB) button in the "Finless ROM Flash Tool"
9. Flash your desired ROM, using the "Flash ROM" button

I am confused. Is N101 II the same as N101 2?

Is there a clone version of N101 II out there that looks like more like a N101, but takes the files of an N101 II?

I wish to purchase a couple of the N101 II units now that the Jelley Bean is alive, but I'd like to know what I am buying.
