    But i must admit that non-working quartz is a frequent failure on wearable and easy droppable devices like USB flash, not the tv boxes that mostly stands on the rack.
    Does it matter if here Cylinder type?

      Nope. If you can fit it there, it will be ok.

            Some thread related news.
            I've opened my S802 box to see this crystal and found no marks on it except "EAMJ" mark which means nothing but manufacturer mark.
            Then i've measured it to try to find the package type and thus the datasheet. It is 6.9*1.4mm.
            What i've found was these types of xtal:
            - SSP-T7-F;
            - SMLF-145;
            - ABS-13.

            Any of these crystals in that specific packaging are made for only one specific frequency - 32.768KHZ without exceptions. So i guess my thought about 24.000 based on boot log may be wrong.
            Anyway, one of these values - 24.000 or 32.768 is correct. According to the price of the xtal (less than $2) it won't be a big problem to buy 2 and check by yourself.

                well I finally decided to try the old box again the crystals you recommended did not work I think I need an exact match anyways I found something interesting out from trying numerous things first off if I boot up with any of the crystals it just freezes ar the first screen but where the crystal is soldered if I jump a screwdriver across the wires for a second and remove it the box boots and runs fine im so close I can taste it im so close just need to figure out what needs to be soldered there.i added some pics really need some help with this one.

                    Looks fried or glued just like yours on the first page! IMO
                    O do not own tje box, just speculating. Good luck, maybe try the other frequency: 32.768?
