    Aoson M11 Finless ROM V1.4 with CWM and INITd support

    OK folks by request I made a Aoson M11 ROM. This is exactly like my Yuandao N101-1 ROMs as far as featrures and capabilities!

    In fact if I used the Yuandao kernel.img with this ROM it boots on my Yuandao N101-1 and everything works!

    READ THE README.TXT FILE IN THE ROM KIT PLEASE!


    Features in 1.4 ROM:
    1) FULL init.d support! Now Scripts put in /etc/init.d will now run on boot.
    This means you can now play with the V6 Super Charger stuff, etc

    Note: you do not need to use V6 init.rc integration! You cant anyway.
    But it is not needed for V6 since full init.d works.

    2) Of course full init.d means full BusyBox install with all needed SYMlinks!

    3) This has my ClockWork recovery Mod installed. If you do not want to use it DONT.
    On first boot just select reboot now and be done with it!
    It will not get in your way again if you do not want it!
    Included is Petrus reboot tool which allows you to reboot into recovery from the OS.

    Other APPs like Titanium will also reboot into recovery so if you dont want the reboot APP, you can remove it.

    4) Since /system is now RW, I have increased it's free space to allow rooted and system apps.

    5) Installed the latest working SU and SuperUser.apk

    6) Updated busybox to 1.19.x (1.20.x has bugs in my opinion) and full busybox install with symlinks.

    7) Full Google Play fix applied! Far more APPs should show up in GPlay now.

    8) Debloated the ROM of the junk APPs. I also removed the Chinese and Japanese keyboards.
    However in the ROM kit is APP Injector. Use that to put back what you want.
    See instructions in the README!



    OK enough of all that.... here is the download for my 1.4 ROM.

    Edit: Would it be possible to install CWM first and make a nandroid backup, just in case?

    Edit2: Flashed the ROM, everything works fine as yet. Unable to navigate using any buttons in CWM, but power acts as 'select', so the tablets reboots fine. Thanks!

      First of all, thank you yash3339 and Finless for your work dumping and creating this custom rom.

      The problem with Aoson m11 is that despite we have a volume rocker, it doesn't work, so we cannot navigate in CWM using the volume keys. I know there is a Touch CWM so...It would be possible to include this Touch CWM in this ROM?

        I can fix CWM to work with your keys. The key mapping must be different than the Yuandao.
        I will need to pull the key mapping file from system and have a look. I will see if I can do this tonight but really busy at work this week.

          I don't know if I've explained properly...we have a volume rocker but is disabled even with stock roms so we have to change the volume using software keys. So i don't know if changing the key mapping could fix that...using only the home and back buttons

            Well we could find out if the volume rocker works and maybe just disabled in key mappings!

            There is a APP in GPlay that is a diagnostic and allows you to test all your hard keys. I forget the name but see if you can find that and try it. Let me know if it does show something is pressed for volume.

            Otherwise NO PROBLEM... I can do a touch screen version.

            I have to ask though. With only a power button, HOW do you put this tablet in ROM flash mode?

              Hi Finless,

              We do have 4 hardware buttons, power, home, back, and menu. The two which look like vol up and vol down are home and back.

                Well.... I am not going to do much more development if people come here, download the ROM, and then run to slatedroid to talk about it! Doesnt seem fare to me does it to you?

                So if you all want further development, people need to come here to talk about my ROM not some place else!

                        Thank you finless for this rom. I download your rom just in case, even if i will want not flash it quickly, as i am ok with my current firmware. At the moment, I will just see how work your rom. Thanks again!

                          It has only 4 hardware buttons, power, home, back, and menu. To go into flash mode you hold home and turn on power. I think a touch screen version would be the preferred answer to the button problem. Thanks for your work on CWM for the Aoson.

                            CWM Touch version ready!

                            OK folks. Here is a CWM touch recovery that should work. Since your screen resolution is a little different than the Yuandao, I obviously cannot test it fully. But it did work on my Yuandao fine.

                            The menu will scroll (when needed) using your finger to swipe up and down. Touching a menu item will select it. If you go into a menu and it is a LONG list, to go back you need to scroll to the bottom of the menu and select "go back"

                            Also just as a TIP! When selecting say backup you will have a long list of NO and then a YES. If you want to get rid of all that and just select stuff with NO CONFIRMATION of YES and NO lists, then add this to you SDcard in the clockwork folder.
                            On your SDCard go into the Clockwork folder. Add this as a folder (directory).
                            .one_confirm

                            This is a complete package with flash tool. It is all setup to ONLY flash recovery.img and misc.img. DONT mess with the setting. Just unzip this kit and run the flash tool.
