you must uninstall the drivers and reboot again.
than try too install the drivers again.
if this works and you plugged in your tablet and rk tools say found ..... .
than your tablet is already on flashmode.
i had this too with the cm10 rom from him.
but cant get out of flashmode even after several reflashes and pushed the tablet too the bin.
maybe you have more luck.

I believe i too am stuck in flash moduey, aside from the fact dat my Windows doesnt recognize the device. There must be a way to geht out though. I googled a bit and i found that the 10g2 has a hard reset. I am going to try if this one does too, maybe somebody knows something here. It would be a shame if i had to toss the tab.

I think after the image installation the button for the recovery mode has changed.
Try to hold the menu button and reset. Hold the menu button until the device is recognised. Now you should have a working device for the recovery mode.

Device: arnova 9g2
Problem: apparently stuck in flash mode, no longer recognized by windows, all i have is a black screen, rkflasher says found no device, wenn i try to reinstall the driver to the unrecognized usb device windows says driver is not correct.

I think thats it

I a linux box and a windows box to try to save with.

Open a terminal, and enter lsusb and press enter.

Then connect the tab via usb and enter lsusb, we are looking for a new entry for you tab, if it's rk based it will be something like 0x281, 0x300a or 0x290a

If we see these then we definitly have options for flashing.

Recovery Problem

Hello,

Please try this.

Just press both Menu + Power buttons, press the reset hole , after 5 seconds windows dong will inform: unrecognized device,
RELEASE the reset hole FIRST (still pressing both Menu + Power buttons) ...

Now Windows should find the Tablet.

Ok so doom was right... menu and power didnt work. Menu alone caused my pad to be found.


Now i am trying to flash this rom. I hope it works. It didnt yesterday.

So have you try with Linux ?

Did you see there the Tablet ?
