i will collecting the feedbacks from yours and pass to our team.

At presents, our engineer team is focus on fixing the Android system and firefly dev board.
for the linux system issues, we will be solve the problems in future

thanks for your understanding and kind waiting patiently in advance

here is the link of dual boot sytem:

The Dual boot system contains the same android firmware 1.3.9 at 30th of Sept.
To switch from andoid to Ubuntu you have to press the recover by inserting a clip for instance in the recover hole on the right side of the box for a few seconds
For switch to android from Ubuntu, you will see that there is a button called" boot android" at the main interface and click it to change. thank you

    Best wishes,
    Tina

Anyone know how to compile ARM Linux XBMC with OpenGL support to work with this?
Also what video player and settings to use to play 720p video, MPlayer, VLC etc?

I am trying this dual boot on the 4G/32G version, but somehow I can't get it in recovery mode when I press the recovery button ( even not 20 sec)

I use the directory structure and configuration, as is out of the rar file.

first the lower format, then the run.
when rebooted in android mode I press the recovery button.

      What do I do wrong.

        Bart,
You have to install a reboot app.
Then use the app to reboot to recovery.

Of cause not, because, like your screen-shoot also shows, after you had flashed the dual-boot there doesn't any longer exists a recovery at the 'recovery-partition' because now they use this 'partition' for the linux-kernel
(In other words: you lost recovery)

reading my post back , I was not so clear I was trying to do this ( from Tina's post )

            And that doesn't work.

I also found that there was a second possibility to go to linux, as mo123 suggests
            - root android
            - install a reboot app.
            - Then use the app to reboot to recovery.

I couldn't get he android rooted, so I went to plan B

Move the linux boot image to the boot section like this ( I don't care about android )
              I didn't do a LowerFormat.

Is android rooted? I have tried the firefly and it has no google play services and is not rooted. i also tried the ugoos ut3 dual boot today and it was not rooted either. i tried finless easy root but it reboots to ubuntu always and when i switch back to android it says update failed. i use mo123 rom it is by far the fastest. would be nice to get ubuntu running along side it.
The funniest thing about this particular signature of mine is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it

Well i wont install this rom because to boot linux you have to insert the reset inthe audio jack which is a pain in the butt. the ugoos ut3 dual boot is very nice. you can boot via onscreen buttons. its running newest ubuntu 14.10 but cant get it rooted either. i cant get root any way. via calculator method or finless method etc. would be nice if beelink came out with a dual boot rom for us. im using mo123 now which is nice but you cant turn it off lol. its got the updated wifi drivers etc and thats why i use it. beelink 110 rom is old drivers and i get very bad wifi connection with it. mo's rom is 99% perfect.

btw i can boot to recovery every time it does not get erased. ive installed the firefly nov 11 image and the ugoos ut3 also and inserting a qtip in audio jack works every time to enter flash mode.

reboot app needs root to install. iroot/vroot does not work either. plus it installs a bunch of crap spamware. lol so i got the ugoos dual boot installed again. it runs nice i will have to live with no root in android until i figure something out.

I already made a rooted Ugoos dual-boot ROM.
Only problem is uploading it, very slow connection.
