it would be the boot linux, img. i extracted the ugoos dualboot img in rk3xxx firmware tools. linuxroot.img is 2 gigabytes and looking at the hph image recovery is bootlinux.img hph images is in9 parts but the ugoos is 1 file thats why i extracted it. the hph bootlinux file is 8 megs and the ugoos is 18 megs. not sure if i want to try flashing a regular recovery then rooting and flashing bootlinux.img back. what ya think?

I see you have called the dual rom a Ugoos rom, does that mean its built from Ugoos firmware ?
Anyway i have a Ugoos UT3 16gb so i can test if you want.
      Regards Jacko.

      Edit,
I am now downloading the dual boot rom from Ugoos to test, but i would rather use the mo123 dual rom as he will have made it better for sure
Will work with HPH & Ugoos UT3 devices.
The Ugoos UT3 kernel doesn't support 2 partitions on external storage, but should work now with a mixture of HPH/UGOOS firmware files.

another thing about this ugoos dual boot is that the android os only has 0.95gb of app space on internal storage. nand says 9.40 total with 8.35 remaining. i dont want to have to use folder mount for asphalt 8 and MC5. mo123 once your done with your custom dualboot i will be flashing it asap bro. we all appreciate the great work you do brotha.

a 4gb app space partition would be awesome mo

ya the 1 gig of app space has to be changed. its useless. my spmc folder is 600 megs. i cant restore all my backups from titanium not enough space lol. like dual boot is great but having only 1 gig is wack. 4 gb would be great!!! also needs to be rooted. i dont like not having full control over the box it drives menuts. lol

Does it mean, HPH is also 14.04 (like firefly) ?

HPH Linux dual-boot firmware is in the 1st post of this thread.
                    Also 14.04
Were the 1st company besides firefly that made a dual-boot firmware.

And now Open Hour also released their Lubuntu 14.04 firmware

It runs of micro-sd card and is not dual-boot.

                      ...
ok, ok, ok, you are right (but it could also be that they meanwhile released a newer version)
But they are different form the first version of firefly (201409291637) ... but I only quick checked it via compare using WinHEX...

It's only that version, but I asked that their engineers check for a new version and also look at the UGOOS one.
Maybe will hear something next week after they also looked at my other suggestions.
Anyway, both HPH and UGOOS use the same boards and the firmware is interchangeable, so not a problem.

No Linux on Rockchip RK3288, AMLogic or Allwinner A80 has hardware Acceleration.
Rockchip is working on it, but without the support of ARM releasing the drivers, don't know if it will ever be possible.
