I got my Draco AW80 today!

Nope. Mine plays all my videos what I would call smoothly... Certainly acceptable to me. I've played 720 and 1080. I have zero interest in 4k video as there is no way I would see the difference between them while watching a film sitting in my living room.

Got my draco telos today

Yeah! after waiting almost 30 days I received it today. Unboxed and plugged it in, worked long enough to enter my google account and screen went blank blue light went off, and no matter what would not turn back on again. Power adapter is good so I guess back it goes. Damn that was a long wait too. Hope nobody else has similar problems.

google also ask allwinner to take down their android 5.0 demo videos from the youtube channel,it's funny.

Hi geekbuying, finally we can have a good firmware android 4.4, for tonsmart draco ?

For me the serious problems is :

1) the video in tonsmart draco, stutters when the camera moves.

2) fuzzy line down the video, with kodi or some player in browser web.


And, All other promises ( linux with good video, firefox os, lollipop, ...) ?

Hmm, odd! Since when did Chinese companies care one bit for what anyone in the West says or does? They are perfectly comfortable stealing ideas, making clones etc, and android is open source, they can do what they like with it, and do... So this doesn't make any sense. It sounds more like an excuse than the real reason.

Or do you have another 12v DC to test with.

No.. I don't have a voltmeter or a 12v 2a ac adapter with the same plug to test with.

Meters are cheap, under $10 for what you need. Maybe a place like Autozone or RadioShack could check the power supply for you. A cheap basic meter is good idea for any household, so that would be my choice.
Are you sure the outlet you are plugging the adapter to works or isn't controlled by a wall switch? Have you checked the adapter in other outlets to see?

UBUNTU 14.04 PORTING TO TRONSMART DRACO AW80 WITH HARDWARE ACCELERATION

Good news share with you guys. Tronsmart release the early version of linux in Tronsmart Draco AW80. It's based on ubuntu 14.04. We push them hard to release it, is there any one interested in it?

If you know what is it and want to try, feel free to let me know your feedback.
