I am betting NOT.... the ug802 the wifi drivers are built in the kernel. Every ROM I have tried to port this has been the issue. Only because the Yaundao has the same hardware does my 1.5C ROm work. It changes nothing if the drivers built in or not, if the wifi adapter is the same it has to work... I hope there's only rtl8188 and rk901 that chinese manufacturers are using?...

N101-2 & UG802
What about N101-2. I've heard compared to the first model in this also different drivers wi-fi. The second model can fit it to our UG802? You can certainly try the firmware from the second model? Мaybe they are similar?Comment

What do you think this 1.5C ROM is made from? Yuandao N101-1 ICS ROM.

No the first version is! Again this is what I used for 1.5C. The 2nd version if wifi is different then it wont work!
WAIT.... EDIT..... you might be right. I am still using the ug802 kernel for wifi in 1.5C.

I will be 100% honest with you. I am not sure how much farther I can go on this project. I am sorry.
I will continue but using other ROMs, while it fixed or helped the AV sync issues, I cannot fix some of the other issues related to the kernel!
WE NEED A FREAKIN KERNEL FROM UGOOS!
EVERYONE BUG THE HELL OUT OF THEM FOR IT!
Thats my best advice.

thank you for fast reply but the funny thing is my unit doesn't have sync issue. I've tried in 2 different tvs and the sound seems normal to me in you tube and in mx player, i didn't try 1080p videos yet but youtube hd works good... and the tvs are toshiba regza lcd tv and 2011 model lg led tv, I don't remember actual model info of tvs and Im now outside of my country so I can not look into that.Originally posted by Finless View Post

geekbuying released the pictures of mk802III pcb and it really looks like ug802, I couldn't see the model number of wifi chip but it looks like same chip, maybe Bob can receive the jb firmware of the mk802III ?
