A gross price for a minimum of one tablet! I contacted the co. for the shipment price... Is the differential enough with AliExpress?

    Will keep you posted.

I already bought my cube talk 9x on aliexpress in july without issues. Now I do not need to buy other tablets, I'm really happy of my cube.

What is the actual weight of Cube T9...???

Some sites write 520-550gr and some others write 62-650gr....

If anyone bought T9 could please tell as the real weight...

              Thanks in advance...

                I've read 615gr, a little bit heavy

Hopefully we will get a nice written review of this tab soon. If it follows along the lines of the T7, the new T9 should be a real winner all the way around.

benchmarks tends to confirm my thoughts:

10-20% performance boost on CPU wrt MT8392 (octacore cortex A7)
50% performance boost on GPU wrt MT8392 (octacore cortex A7)

Some optimization in power consumption I think could increase battery life in up to 1h more wrt cube talk 9x.

                    Not bad at all!

If I need to buy a tablet now I would go for sure for the cube T9 (or at least teclast T98, but this one has a little battery).

At the moment no root seems possible though...but it's a matter of time!

Thanks ogu, I read somewhere 615gr, not so far from the thruth!
A little bit heavyer than cube talk 9x (550-560gr)

                          Droidfish test

"Droidfish test" would be welcome to test the speed of the MT8752, wouldn't it, Ogu...?

as far as I understand droidfish will test CPU processing part only. That it's good.

                              Partial synopsis.

So this looks to be a very nice tablet. What do we have so far?

                              Pros.
Build. Looks to be about perfect, other than a dislike of the white dimpled back I read at Cane' blog (which has nothing to do with actual build quality).
Speed. Everything looks to be very, very good.

                              Negatives.
Weight. Might be considered heavy at 610 gems, but the bigger battery is worth it. And I bet the metal re- inforceing for build stability inside the tab adds to this.
Grainy screen. Reported, but actually do not know if it is an issue or not.

                              Not known entirely.
                              Wi-Fi performance?
4G - what benefits? Is it related to videos?
Speaker. Is it loud enough for YouTube video and other simple things? Headphones are always better for music and movies.
Quality of retina screen (grain or no grain)
                              Bloatware? (less being better)
                              Brightness of screen?
                              Battery life?
Camera? 13 Mp. sounds fantastic. Is it?

Other questions will be there. I just thought these to be most important.

Anyone who actually has the tablet could easily grade many of these on a 1-10 scale.

This tablet also must be in somewhat short supply, as there are really very few vendors with it right now. Plus the fact I have yet to find a true written review. (Maybe I should do one when & if I finally buy it ).

Also I speculated in another thread about the alliance between Cube, Intel, and Microsoft. There is a big announcement coming in January. If Cube makes a bigger move to Win8.1 with the T series ....inventory would have to be kept slim on this model.

                              Cheers and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Even if I don't have this tablet if for you is ok I can answer to some question on the basis of reviews I've read and my experiences:

Wi-Fi performance? As good as cube talk 9x (no issues, good sensitivity, good stability) I think 9/10.

4G - what benefits? Is it related to videos? Faster download speed up to 150Mbit/s (3G of cube talk 9x is up to 21Mbit/s, more than fast enough, I think). It's a matter of contract you have with your provider, for my use is not so useful but is good to have the provision for the future. Speed is 10/10, usability at the moment for me is 5/10 (due to costs and coverage of 4G network...)

Speaker. Is it loud enough for YouTube video and other simple things? Headphones are always better for music and movies. No info about that, but it has only 1 little speaker and let me think it is not so loud...

Quality of retina screen (grain or no grain). Some users reported grainy display, others no... no answer for this point at the moment... (on 5 cube talk 9x bought all have good displays no grainy effects, so I can say that you have good probability to get a good T9)

Bloatware? (less being better) All can be uninstalled when you get root access, It's not a real problem! The only real problem is how to get root access!!! But I'm sure it's only a matter of time to have a working procedure...

Brightness of screen? No answer on this point, but if it is as cube talk 9x (I suppose the answer is YES) it's bright, but cannot be used outside under direct sunlight.

Battery life? Very interesting point in my opinion, A user reported 10h with a Teclast T98 which shares same component (same Mediatek SoC) except a little battery of 8500mAh. So I would be not worried about battery life: I think that T9 could reach 11-12h. Really amazing!

Camera? 13 Mp. sounds fantastic. Is it? No, It's not, camera is on average quality. On paper should be fantastic, but in reality can be compared with the one installed on middle range smarthones...In any case slightly better than the one installed on cube talk 9x.
But in my opinion camera on a tablet is the very last point...I'm probably one of the last thinking in this way...

As far as I know Cube T9 CANNOT have windows 8.1 dual boot sistem, it is an ARM based SoC and at the moment the only tablets that are equipped with a dual system android/windows are intel based (that are x86 and NOT ARM architectures). If you are interested on a possible cube dual system tablet the one for you is cube T6. I love a LOT more the T9. T6 is another average tablet with nothing special, as all others intel based chinese tablets now on the market.

New Intel Core-M tablets will bring to us a new revolution in tablet performance with a high probability of dual boot android/windows 8.1 AND performance range NEVER seen on tablet (same performance of a Core i-5 but with only 4W of power consumption). The bad thing is that these chips will be very expensive, so I suppose that chinese brands will integrate Core-M chips too late...
