Originally posted by Ava View PostHi mo123, thanks for you work. I found few issues, in your first post written what you use lubuntu 14.10 img, but in firmware you use Xubuntu img. Also i tried played some video from youku.com, but firefox write what i need install flash plugin. I got the impression that you use wrong Linux image in your firmware.
Will change to Xubuntu.
Changed default Youtube video playback to HTML5 instead of flash.
Didn't test other sites. Sometimes I make additional changes to my system after I finish firmware and can't always remember if it's included in the ROM I made.
I will also test Opera browser since it based on Chrome source and might work better and faster with flash.
Hopefully Rockchip can fix GPU/VPU playback on Linux and everyone with RK3288 devices can have a much better experience.

thats why i flashed kernal and resource cause i know they are tied together. i only flashed resource becauuse mo123 suggested it. Now I report back to him my findings.

The funniest thing about this particular signature of mine is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it

For people that want to add different remote buttons:
There is an Android app, keytest.apk that can get the key scan codes of remotes.
Then you can add those key codes to the generic.kl remote file or create a new file in system/usr/keylayout

Is your beelink source 110K4? Is it Ubox(beelink) or beelink?

Beelink r89 PCB v.3 110k4

I'm thinking I only needed resource image.

Hi Mo
I flashed your rom on a firefly, the boot process is ok but usb ports dont seems to be activated.
If i plug an optical mouse i dont have light on the sensor.

But not sure about Firefly board, maybe boot.img is also needed, but stock one won't boot.
Maybe upload your boot.img from Firefly then I can look if there are any drivers etc. in there needed to boot properly. Will then make a new boot.img for Firefly board if it's needed.
