NEW - 2dark4u ug802 ROM - fixes sync issues?

i didnt really have a serious sync problem. i only have one file that gets out of sync and it didn't work on this rom unfortunately.

I think I can fix this but we need to know WHAT the key number is for the air mouse back button.

Go to this post on XDA and download the knrtracker and the buttom remapper.

See if you can use the tracker to find what key number is the air mouse back button. Then you might tray the remapper APP to change its function.

But once we know the number we can implement in the ROM.

KeynrTracker doesn't register either left or right mouse button.
Yes, ESCAPE is 1, and thats essentially the function needed.
I might flash back to your 1.4a just to see if KeynrTracker registers mouse click, and copy the keylayout files.

I moved over the key maps from stock ROM to this ROM and it did not fix it. So it must be some lib file or something. I will investigate more.

In my tv 1080 keep fliking ony 720 did work.

I was not able to see full screen movies mx played did had lots of issues whith the playback.

Youtube works perfect.

Thing that should be updating. Rollack the keyboar mapping. When click with right button does not work. Or may be the build prop if you updated the board information.

Also add a tuned host file to avoid ads .

May be you can two work together instead of doing 2 different versions.

I have not tested much but you allready know all the work that needs to be done.

Let me know if i can help in something i have some experience tweaking cx-01 uhost or u1a host. And paladin advamced ii. But not experience in rk3066 cpu.

Check if build prop was too tweaked.

That happened to me with u host. Some keys of the remote control due tweas in the build prop.

Audio / Video sync problem still exist

I have tried local standard definition avi file and youtube - both show video before audio

I run the easy update method.

Yes, I also noticed the same, video and audio aren't sync'ed perfectly but it's still a lot better than before.

Also the "fade in" when it starts playing is very annoying. I wish we can get rid of that.

Also for me .avi files seems to be slightly out of sync (test made streaming from a NAS).

Nevertheless nothing compared at what was before. I think I notice it only because now I'm concentrated to test this particular problem. I'm convinced that if UG802 never had this out of sync problem, I probably never noticed this negligible retard in audio.

You can edit vold.fstab in /etc with a root explorer like ESFileExplorer and change routes: change external_sd to sdcard and sdcard to external_sd. Also mount the sdcard as flash, cause I had problems mounting it as sdcard.

Here go the original lines in vold.fstab:
dev_mount flash /mnt/sdcard auto /devices/virtual/mtd/mtd9/mtdblock9
dev_mount sdcard /mnt/external_sd auto /devices/platform/rk29_sdmmc.0/mmc_host/mmc0

Change with this:
dev_mount flash /mnt/external_sd auto /devices/virtual/mtd/mtd9/mtdblock9
dev_mount flash /mnt/sdcard auto /devices/platform/rk29_sdmmc.0/mmc_host/mmc0

Then you got the internal flash mounted as /mnt/external_sd and the sdcard as /mnt/sdcard to use it as main memory.
