Hi,

can anyone tell me, does this rom have true 1080p desktop 1:1 ie 1920x1080 resolution, or is it just 1280x672 upscaled?

If it does, can anyone point me in the right direction of what would be involved on porting it to Mk808?

No in this FW 720P with upscaling.

Just wait, we working hard with Bob to make new firmware Finless 1.7 there will be native 1080P
so after release of finless 1.7 I'll make a kernel for MK808 with same improvment's in it.

Any plans to update this version here? There are still some people out, like me, with broken usb connection -> no way to update to any of the android 4.1 releases...

That will not be possible because we cannot write kernel.img from a update.img. At least we cannot at this time.
