Does anyone know if this box auto powers on? I am waiting on my meegopad and just found out that it does not. Will probably be sending it straight back so looking for alternatives?

Audio
I installed a new versions of windows and everything seems to be working minus audio. I get no audio output device is installed when hovering over the volume option. I do have a few unknown devices inside the device manager. also there is no audio and gaming option in the device manager? Anyone have a fix for this?

Bluescreen
Has anyone had any problems with bluescreen and the error: UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP ?
I get this quite frequently.
Is it possible to even update the BIOS if that could help?

Does anyone knows what the ribbon cable on the bottom of the CX motherboard is for? The Mini z64 also have the same connector as the CX. By the looks of it six wires cable is needed.

The seller had specs that it used Broadcom but that was inaccurate...
Once drivers for wifi and bluetooth was installed all my unknown devices was gone.
I'm not seeing any device that resembles the IR receiver. Perhaps it has to be activated in the bios?

Pls can you also check from ur side for unknown device or similar in the Device manager ? Need to search google for equipment/device ID, then figure out what drivers will be needed. Do you also have Broadcom Dual Band Wifi ?

Anyways I reinstalled Windows 8.1 with a new license and got it to work (although finding the correct drivers was a nightmare)...
I'm still having problems getting the Wifi and Bluetooth to work.
I'm going to test the HP drivers posted in this thread when I get home to see if they will work.
I've noticed that there seems to be a IR receiver in the front of the device.
Does anyone know if it's possible to get this IR receiver to work in Windows?
