No need to make usb with rufus if you are using microsoft official tool. Try this- Repeatedly press F7 when you switch on your box and then select UEFI:USB from there. It should start windows installation.

If not then try another method-
If you are still not getting installation for any reason and your box is keep booting in android then here is one more solution.
There is one reset button behind audio jack of your TV box.
    Shut down your box
You need to press that reset button (with help of tooth pick or any similar thing) along with power button and keep pressing reset button until you see dual boot screen (same as above picture)
Select Windows icon and hit enter. Hopefully you are now installing windows

    instructions are here

[QUOTE=emmathon1;n513209]I have the dual boot Wintel w8 box and i've somehow messed around with the drive partitions to the point where it will now boot into the BIOS but wont recognise any Windows installation USB drive. Is there any chance i'll be able to bring this box back to life, or have i basically bricked it (because i cant boot Windows, Android, or get it to see any installation media).

Is there any way i might be able to use to OTC usb port to revive it?

R u able to boot into Android or not?
