Yes this will work somewhat! Games that allow you to map keyboard keys to functions it will work with. Like Dead Trigger. BUt cames that expect ONLY a touch screen wont work. Joy2touch wont start because there is no touch screen drivers in these TV ROMs.
So you joystick center 6 will get a lot of controller and games working but not all of them.

Ok mabe not with all games. But a Xbox controler is expensive and a cheap OEM ps3 controller maby 10 . So this wil be a cheap option.

Sorry for maybe a stupid question, but I don´t have my MK808 here yet so I can´t just try it: Does this mean that the MK808 can be rebooted by a wireless keyboard key, as the wireless receiver will still have power?

Also, would it be possible to auto-power-down the MK808 after the USB power is switched on, but keep it running if restarted by the keyboard? Reason: I would like to power the stick by the TV, so whenever I turn the TV on and I don´t use the stick, I want it to be in power down so I can safely switch the TV off. When I need the stick, I would turn it on with the keyboard and also power it down manually. Is this possible?

Wifi and BT not working

Hello Bob,

really like the ROM 1.6. I flashed the ROM but my Wifi and BT don't work. The chips installed on my MK808 stick are the Mediatek chips. I have been searching the web trying to get the orginal factory stock ROM rk30 dsk eng JR003H eng 4.1.1 20121126 180852 test-keys but can't source it. I would be grateful if anyone could send me a copy of the 20121126 stock ROM. I don't know maybe you have a custom ROM that will work with the Mediatek chips ........I have also tried the MK808b ROM but still the wifi dosen't turn on....

The amount of clones of MK808 with different hardware are getting crazy!

Sorry your wifi does not work. Bottom line we need the kernel.img from these ROMs before people flash other ROMs!!!! It appears we are starting to see many variations of MK808 with different hardware.

I just have to say... WHAT THE HELL is wrong with the companies that make these and not release proper specs and ROMs to support customers? I am really starting to get upset

Hi i have ms wedge touch mouse.
Perfect for scrolling

But dosent this rom have bluetooth support?

Ive attached a mini bluetooth reciver but nothing.
Works fine on pc.

how did you managed to flash an mt6577 (i guess?) devices with this rom and the rk flashing tool`?

Wifi in 1.5a work great on my mk808, does this means 1.6 WiFi will work also on my MK808?

Kidding man... between 1.5a and 1.6 there should be no difference in wifi....

Look.... you can try it and if you do not like it..... 1.5a is stil available so you can flash back to that!

Just a question please.... WHY with the ease of flashing ROMS and ability to unbrick with RK30.... Do some people worry about flashing a new ROM and trying it? I honestly don't get the questions and insecurity? You will loose nothing! ROM's are NOT "magical" things that can hose your device forever! Well at least not Rockchip!
