Is it possible make permanent MAC address for Ethernet port? When I turn the network off/on, I see different MAC address.

MiniX has addressed this in the Minix Forum. They have a MACTOOLS that you have to download. Here's a link.

Note though, that I play it with the Moga controller. I already had it for use with my galaxy SIII and nexus 7. I haven't tried the gameloft games with another blue tooth controller and a different IME or the sixaxis app for the PS3 controller yet. Someday I'll mess around with those. Also, I highly recommend the Logitech K400 for use with the minix x5. It seems to almost be made for it. Aside from the keyboard and the track pad (which works great with games like angry birds where touch is needed), alot of the other hot keys work too, like the volume controls, ESC and the right mouse button to exit out of an app, the power button to put the X5 into sleep mode or do a soft power down of the X5. I've never used the included remote as the K400 has given me every function I need.
That's awesome cool_guitars. I was going to try the PS3 controller using the sixasis app. Package should be here any day now. So when I receive and get everything flashed, I will try using the PS3 controller and let everyone know how it turns out. Should work using screenshots and profiles. Thanks for the feedback cool_guitars...much appreciated.

Yeah, that's my next venture is to get sixaxis controller working. Make sure you check out the thing I just posted about the mac address issues, this fix that MiniX supplied is suppose to resolve the changing bluetooth mac issue and the network mac issue. I haven't tried it yet, because it hasn't been an issue yet, but will be when I go to use a PS3 controller.

Touch profiles seem to not be working for me using the sixaxis controller app. When I enable the app I get a error message saying "can't open touch device touch profiles will be disabled". Any fix for this Bob? I'm using FinlessROM latest with 1080P kernel.

                MOGA Controller

Hey cool_guitar, you mentioned that you are using the MOGA controller. How well does this controller work for the games its compatible with? I also know there is an app for the MOGA universal driver, so you can use it with emulators. I have been doing research on this since you mentioned it. Also does the MAC bluetooth issue effect the MOGA controller?

                Thanks

For APPs or games that use touch only for input then at this time the only way to play those is using a tablet or phone and the RK Remote APP which I supplied in my ROM kit. Or buy Droidmote and use that. I do not have droidmote but people say it performs better than the RK Remote.

I second the opinion on the K400. Question is is there anyway to reverse map the commands for universal remote programming?

On another hand has anyone tried anything like this with X5 or TV Box?

Supposedly can be mapper to any keyboard controls on universal remote controls.

                      Just flip one page back....
it's crazy buy this when there is IR receiver built in. I hope Minix will come to the same conclusion and expand teh IR support.

No I was reading that and I know Harmony Supports Minix X5 codes but that is a $100 remote control. Also from everything I read it does not help the limited angle and range of the built in receiver. I was just curious if anyone had a dump of the existing harmony supported codes to see if they overlap with other obvious supported devices. It seems a lot of us are still looking for the same thing which is the release of the IR codes.

IR blaster connected to harmony receiver fixes the bad receiver position for me
Harmony supports only what Mininix coded in the database and that is virtually nothing

I get today my new X5 (AleX Wong is good seller ), flashed Finless ROM and is nice, but in 1080p kernel I have very small icons and very small text I can't read in my TV

I have "huge" but on 720p it looks better than on 1080p.
