Have you tried flashing the rom and installing each program one at a time. I have the same rom running and no FC at all.

I also have been playing with the build.prop file and still don't have any FC's

The only FC I get is after flashing, the calibration for the touch screen
This seems to be a known problem.

It may be one of the programs that is causing the FC's, I know its a long winded solution but might work.

hmmm that would be easy to figure out but it happens sometime after have reinstall all apps... the issue didnt happen on v4.1s and v5 has same app loadout...so if it's app related then how the heck do we figure out which one when alls well on v4.1s?

I actually had this problem when upgraded from my 1.3 ROM to my 1.4 ROM with titanium backup. I had backed up everything with titanium but something got screwed up in the process as when I restored that backup from 1.3 to 1.4, I had a problem. For me when Titanium decided to reinstall the google calendar and google Maps, I got continued force close and could not even navagate the launcher at all.
On the force close I saw a message about the ggole calendar and that gave me the tip. So then when I reflashed, I told titanium backup not to restore the calendar or maps apps and data and this solved it.

This only happened to me once! Why that backup of 1.3 was messed up I do not know.

You might try a reflash and then when you go to do a batch restore with titanium, go through the list and do not allow it to restore some of the built in goolge apps or frameworks. As I recall these are red in the titanium backup list.

only problem with what you have said is I manually reinstall each app on every reflash! so only user apps had been installed....

Install one app and see if it crashes. Then install the next app and see if that crashes. Keep doing this till you find the bad app. Sorry mate but it'll take time.

I'm not completely sure its the rom. If you can find an app that is deffinately crashing let me know and I will try it on tablet.

It would seem it's a busybox issue... After a fresh reflash(did it twice to make sure everything was formatted propery I then installed a few apps and then updated busybox rebooted and hey presto issue started yet again... So did clean reflash and reinstalled ALL my 300+ apps and did NOT updage busybox and alls well... So folks my advice is DON'T UPDATE BUSY BOX!!!!



one last note @Sowa will you be doing a deoxed release of your rom or may be a version with android 3.2(honeycomb)???Also is it possible to have more data? say 1.5gig instead of 1gig?

ok, but how do to recognize my mouse? I say because I connect the mouse using an adapter and not the senses, the same goes when i use an HUB

I have used USB mouse connected to the full USB port and it works fine. Is the mouse you are using a serial mouse with a USB adaptor?

Maybe that's why it is not showing up.

As soon as you plug in a USB mouse it is plug and play just worked straight away

Of course rum will develop further. What would it be - time will tell. Especially for you I will make the version with 2 GB of user data

I do not understand the need for 2GB of app space? I have 117 apps installed and still have over 500 megs left? Adding 2GB is just wasting memory if you ask me. It's not going to speed up anything.

LOL 117 apps you light weight!!!!! I have 309 installed(USER)and 121megs free..

As to the 2gig yippeee... well whilst you can move apps to sd not all will work well and some just will not work at all.... And alot of the interactive childrens books are in the last category so have to be installed in the user area.. So 2 gigs would give me more space etc and as you are probably aware even though it states in title 1gig for data, we only get 900megs as android reserves 10% and will not let you install anything further when near to it!!!!! Which is bloody annoying...

As to why so may apps... both me and my partner have tablets for work etc and have alot of work related apps installed but we also have a lot of games installed too. the games are more for our two kids(some are for me too) and one of are kids has autism too which we have found alot of games and interactive books a huge help in teaching him etc... So both are tablets are used by us when at work/on duty but soon as we get home the kids use them. So hopefully you can see we need the space for our works apps, our childrens games and for teaching aids etc.. All of which eat up space...
