MK808-B "V2 Sunvel Clone" - Finless 1.6 Custom ROM

OK folks here is my MK808-B 1.6 Custom ROM for the "Sunvel" clone

If you MK808B is flashed with my previous 1.6 ROMs and you find Wifi and/or Bluetooth does not work, then you probably have this Sunvel clone. This ROM is for you guys.

Features in 1.6 ROM:

1) Optimized for scaled up 720 to 1080 for best look!
2) Fully rooted with the latest SU and SUperUser.apk
3) 2 gig of user APP space. Stock was only 1 gig
4) Debloated of junk APPs you an get back from Google Play
5) FULL GOOGLE PLAY mods! Onlive and other Apps should show up now.
6) This also includes mods to framework to fix gameloft games that crash to desktop e.g. like wonder zoo.
If you want more compatability, you must edit build.prop. See Freaktab.com for that info.
7) Special add for this ROM. Full init.d support! If you do not know what that is... ignore it.
If you do, you can now install and use boot time scripts like V6 SUper Charger!
8) All APPs are up to date! So you will not get any Google Play APPs needing updated.
9) Cleaned up the file system so it is not fragmented! Basicly I used linux tune2fs when making the images.
10) I added a reboot APP that will allow optional reboot options like reboot to bootloader (flash mode).
11) The Xbox XPAD.KO module is now injected on boot. This was by request! Enjoy!
12) TUN KO module were also added by request.
13) Added Xbox control .kl and .kcm files to fix camera spin in some games.



Also please help with the readme.txt for flash mode instructions. Since I do not have one of these there maybe better ways to put it into flash mode. The current readme is following my MK808 instructions.

Sadly I had many freezes and reboots with the stock SunVel ROM, but hopefully not with this one.

@Finless: All is OK wifi @ bluetooth, root OK, but when i powered in dc slot in max 5 minutes the sistem freeze, in OTG has been running OK for 2 hours. Best regards and 10x

Very odd. My Sunvel stick does power fine through either USB port. It did not until I got the Sunvel ROM. I left it on overnight using non-OTG port and this AM it was still on.

I was powering it from my PC USB port.

Seems that you are right and that also explains why there were no freezes/reboots with the v1 clone ROM. (Otg only...)

It wouldn't be a big deal if it powered off normal, but it always reboots and you have to plug it out in time.
Don't know if I should keep it or return it for another model.

Bob after trying many different RONs and racking my brains as to why my unit would not work I tried this and it worked perfectly! Powers up from correct port without a problem, no freezes (touch wood), wifi and Bluetooth both work. Wifi abit slower than other rom but nothing to worry about.

so thank you for all your help, I've read and re-read many forums and posts and finally got it going.

so now just need to fix the xbmc no dependancies issue I now have and I'll be on track!

for me it is very strange that the only ROM is boot Finless 1.6 for MK808

Seems like my SunVel is faulty:
Powered with dedicated port: often freezes and reboots.
Powered through OTG: first freeze after 3 hours of flash video - second freeze after 1.5 hours of flash video and it doesn't reboot on it's own like when powered with dedicated port.

The device doesn't seem very hot (on the outside) but may it by a heating problem?
I'm thinking of getting a heatsink for it - maybe this one. (would fit exactly the SOC)

Do you guys think it's cause of the heating? (1.6 GHz, FlashPlayer and no heatsink)
