Are you sure you follow the steps right? (erasing NAND etc.)
Also: On first restart after flashing the "GoogleTV" logo appaered and I had to unplug it, power it again and then the recovery script deleted /data etc.
After this the device booted right. (takes some time on first boot)

Mind if I ask what wifi chip this is for? Been sold something that apparently has a RALINK 818.8 in it, I've not opened it up yet so not sure but the 1.5a ROM doesn't work. Thought £43 delivered from the UK was good, but should have paid more attention to the specs as it didn't really state a model number.

Will DL it when I get home and give it a try anyway.

I've read that 2 pinguins mean that the kernel is not for your device.

Try a different ROM or research for your device.

PS: Power through dedicated port worked for me only after the first boot.

Mine was indeed a penguin stick, at least with the original firmware. I've just managed to flash the imito MX1 1.5 rom onto it and it boots fine and wifi now works

              Hi Bob,
Can you add to this ROM some kind of shoot down ?

              Best Regards,

                Brand New

So after getting my original to work and complaining to the company who shipped me a dodgy unit they sent another! Same chipset but this time I checked to see what the original firmware was!

This is a clone but having seen this firmware, I think it has an improved 818 wifi but the unit is very unreliable, random shutdowns and wifi works when it feels like and drops signal alot.

any feedback on what firmware is or if anyone has seen this?

Seems like the same ROM which was taken as base for this custom one - at least the kernel is exactly the same.
Power it through the otg port to get far less freezes/reboots.

I tried the iMito 1.5 too, but it was a little sluggish. WiFi and BT worked - power only through OTG.
But I got some random reboots and now I'm back on this ROM - best so far for my device.

For the people that don´t know, this ROM is compatible with GV-20 Primal stick.

I can't even write this one to my device, just get an error saying download failed. Back to the imito I guess!

Hi all, I got MK808-B "Sunvel Clone V2" by mistake loaded soft from the original MK808 with Rk-901, anyone knows how to reset the NAND?

You can try to disconect everything out of the stick, push the reset button (oposite side of blue led), and while button is pushed conect te usb to the pc, it must be detected in "loader mode" by windows, and you can flash them.
