    Clock is updated over WiFi. Make sure your router suports "time service". Your Tab gets the time from your router when it connects. If your router is not doing a update from "time service" then that is what is happening. Your router has the wrong time or time zone setting!

    Windows OS and Linux has it's own time service settings and can bypass your routers time and it does so by default! The tablet does not have this and gets time from the local network! That being your router and what time it thinks it is. Fix your router!

        Just fix your router and time setting. You should not need a time app to fix this.

        WHY are some people reporting this and others not? (it's true on all the tablets not just Arnova), because your router is not set to the correct time zone or is off on the time. Installing a time app is fine but why waste the CPU time and memory on doing so?

          error download IDB failed

          I dont seem to be able to get past this error, I did the Erase IDB no problem and then when I hit run I get error download IDB failed

          INFO: Start to download boot
          INFO download boot ok
          INFO start to test deivce OK
          INFO start to doanload IDB
          error download IDB failed
          Error run failed

              market problems

              IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH ANDROID MARKET

              Market issues. Market issue "may" still exist. This is common on tablets that are not really supported by Google as a registered device. Most users have no issues but sometimes there can be, The 2 issues that seem to arise when your FIRST TIME try to use the Market are:

              A) Cannot logon; "Cannot establish a reliable data connection" I have tried to recreate this and troubleshoot this. My belief if in fact this happens sometimes when Google servers are doing something or something is going on with them. When I had this happen once I simply waited a while and it worked later. So I cannot help too much here. My only suggestion to try is this
              a) Install a root file manager like root explorer or ES file manager (enable root access for them)
              b) Go in with the file manager and delete /data/misc/imei/imei or data.dat which ever one exists

              B) Limited apps listed; I have reproduced this and know how to recreate it and fix it! This has to do (I beleive) that after a factory reset or a flash the tablet creates a ID based on some other IDs and a random key generator. Sometimes this ID Google does not like. So we have to clear that and reboot. YOU DO NOT EVER NEED TO REFLASH OR DO A FACOTRY RESET TO FIX THIS!!!!
              DO the following
              a) Again using a file manager that has root access go in and delete the follow folders from the /data/data directory.
              com.android.vending (not com.applib.vending!)
              com.android.vending.updater
              com.google.android.gm
              com.google.android.gsf
              b) Reboot and do nothing else but run the Market. YOu should get a prompt asking you to accept the Google terms of service. If you did not you did something wrong. Do it again. If you do get the prompt, accept and now the Market should work fully with TONS of apps showing up

              I still cant see many apps in market, was ok on 1.3 Ive tried the above but cant see any files in /data/data tried a reboot, I can log in ok, any ideas ?

                What file browser are you using? The stock one will not browse /system or /data/data.

                Get ES File Explorer and in setting on that enable root browsing!
                If you cant find ES FIle Explorer on the Market due to the limited apps issue, use applib and get it there.

                      I tried this on my 9G2. First flash was successful, but I had 0,00kB free as well and the market was very limited. I reflashed, this time flashing the loader as well and now everything is great. Loads of free memory, working market and a much faster tablet. Thank you very much! Now all I have to do is find some precompiled modules for an FTDI-serial-converter and a bluetooth-module.

                          Hello Guys,

                          i flashed 1.4 and all works fine (play etc.)

                          But now i got "com.noshufou.android.su has stopped unexpectedly" and root doesn´t work anymore.

                          Is there a chance to get that superuser fixed without flashing the ROM new ?

                            Did you install ROM manager or SDMaid etc and run it? If so this can hose you up if your not careful!

                            You can try a factory reset which will blow out all acounts and user data and see if that solves it. If not, then having root and write access to /system is a double edged sword! Install an app that writes to /system and the only way to fix it is a refalsh of the ROM. Factory reset never touches /system as is assumes it is read only like the stock ROM.

                              It was SDMaid wich causes the problem.

                              The Factory Reset fixes the SuperUser.

                              But I have to Restore all the Apps.

                              Ok, no problem, its not the first Time, and i think it will be not the last.

                              Thank you for your support and the excellent Work on that ROM, looking forward to 1.5 for my 9 G2.
