ANOTHER CLONE! UG802_9 or UG80x? Stock ROM now available

As I said this is/was my Stock rom, build info rk30sdk-eng 4.1.1 JRO03H eng.box.20130123
Got the version with Hynix Memory chips but shouldnt matter for the Image.

Please be warned, I did not flash this back to any device yet! so cant confirm its working.
Should be flashable with RKAndroidTool (e.g. included in Finless's Package) once device is in FlashMode.

For the recovery.img I also included a dump with the offset/length numbers not reverted,
but I guess it was just a misstake by 900supersport, details in his thread

So I hope this will be of use for someone.

Maybe you can check it out, e.g. for newer drivers in the kernel image or smth.

I just got an update from seller to my clone, and thought I`d share this with you guys

UG80x_9 Finless 1.7 BETA3 ROM also working well with my stick.
Its sold as a MK809 and looks exactly like in the images borrowed from dorud82 in this post.

Try Finless 1.7 beta3 , i have the same clone and it's working good.

I have one of these clones, and almost bricked it. With the infos found in this forum, i was able to recover the little nasty thing, and now it works very good.

So ED1 (or T5 + Gnd) is flash mode, ED2 (or T6 + Gnd) is recovery mode, ED3 and ED4 are probably (and hopefully) TX and RX for serial console access. I've soldered a reset button on it myself so I can easily boot it into flash mode.

I managed to brick this device but by flashing it with beta 3 ROM it came back to live. So many thanks for this ROM and the tools that come with it!

Hi all,

I have an UG802 clone, but the one with mic and "camera/flash" button near HDMI port.

I've tried almost any ROM i've found on the forum but many simply does not work, other boot loop and the better one, this 1.7 beta3 does not have wifi

I've reseted many times, with sd in, without sd, with my wireless keyboard, without it...

And every time I shut down the minipc lost the date/time.

Any idea of what can I do?

Is there any 4.2 firmware version? fully working ?

I see some people are having success with the Finless 1.7 beta 3 - can I just flash it the normal way, or is it necessary to open it up and mess with pins?

Android 4.2.2 from rikomagic mk802III for ug802 clone!

Hi all. I have install android 4.2.2 ( from 27.08.2013)from rikomagic mk802III on this ug802 clone everything works like a charm , but the stick is getting hot(only when i run antutu) and reboot.I downgrade the cpu clock to 1272mhz but no succes. I wonder if anyone can help me in this problem ,especialy Bob or Neomode , maybe can do something on this rom to work on my stick. Thank you.

problem with Wifi

I have a TV stick called Arena scientific TV-505
I'm having problems with wifi (not enabled)
i opened the stick and T002 V2 20121207 written
has Rockchip RK3066
and other 4 x GeIL chips ( i guess ram)
Realtek RTL8188EUS wifi chip
and SanDisk chip

it has a reset hole and i use it for recovery mode
i tried allot of firmwares and wifi is not working
i think it's UG802 from all the talk i've seen but maybe i'm mistaken

in the logcat i see:

Hi Bob! I want to ask you if you want or if you can change the frequency of the CPU and GPU on this rom as 2dark4you & finless 1.7 cpu1272Mhz, GPU 466Mhz, ram1140Mhz because I installed 2dark4you & finless 1.7 rom (1272Mhz, 1608Mhz overclock) but cpu stay stuck at 1008mhz, not up to 1272mhz. I tried with the kernel's 2dark4you 1.7beta 3 finless but still it remains at 1008mhz. Finless cpu frequency to 1.7 beta 3 is 1200MHz, the gpu not know. I have tried many roms but this works best. Please, I and users of clones ug802. Thanks in advance. Have a good day!
