External HDD, is it possible?

    Use a poewred USB hub and should have no problem. I use a WD 600GB externsl HDD for movies and have no problems. It is formatted as ntsf - so I can transfer files larger than 4GB.

      I tried two different powered hub 7 ports. Both does not work with 2.5" portable hdd.

      Leolas in earlier post mentioned mk808 is 'picky' on the powered hub.
      guess that the problem i am having.

      So Leolas, can you share with us the brand, model and type of hubs that worked.

        I have 3 usb hub, all 4 ports, and only one of them branded like conceptronic, the other 2 not branded. Latter I will post the exact name, but it is old and dont know if you can find it.
