They are still using the mali 400 GPU? The CPU's are powerful enough as they are, it's the GPU which is the problem, having two extra cores isn't going to do a whole lot more.

I was honestly surprised at this myself as well! I bet we still see only 720P stock kernels because of this.


As for making a ROM.... sheesh man... I want to right away but I need a device to work with! As of yet Geekbuying has not been able to send me one

we will make sure bob have all quad core tv stick and make great roms!

Depends if its actually clocked at that speed.

The MP4 is just an overclocked 400. The Mali should be able to hit around 500mhz, while the 400MP4 usually comes in a little over that. Considering most of these devices are under clocked, I would wait until someone confirms what speed these are actually running at.

Hi you probably do not know the topology of processors.
Do you buy MK 908 or other processor RK3188 graphics card will continue to MP4 (clock speed to 600Mhz),the same processor RK 3066 is the graphics MP4(clock speed 250Mhz).
No matter whether you will have a name MK 908 or T428
There is no separate graphics

Android 4.1.1 does not work on SKYPE webcam Logitech (antutu 14000)
Android 4.2.2 is faster and more stable(antutu 15400) also works every version of XBMC,but the problem with SKYPE

Darek, thanks a million for these links. I was going out of my mind with my MK802IV on 4.2.2. On a whim, (albeit, unsure about the outcome) I figured since it's the same hardware, I would flash the 809III 4.1.1 rom, and now my 802IV is usable again. I even put the antenna back inside the case, since the only way I could get a signal was with the mod. Now I don't need the mod to get great wifi. Hoping to get an updated rom for my version, but just wanted to give a HUGE thanks for uploading and sharing the files.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't all android tv players that have the RK3188 quad core processor (Cube Pea II, Cube U30GT2, CloudnetGo CR9, iMito QX1, PIPO M8pro, PIPO M9, Rikomagic MK802 IV, Ugoos UG802B, Ugoos UG007B, Ugoos MK809 III, Ugoos QC802, Measy U4B, Minix X7, Tronsmart MK908, Tronsmart T428) have the same GPU (Mali-400 MP quad core 600 MHz)?

The standard of what is realizes it is set to 450 MHz, but can be overclocked to 600 MHz of course if you have a heat sink on the processor
