Hi neomode, I've been using my 802 IIIS for 2 weeks, and I was not very satisfied with it.
After reading a lot on this forums and on XDA, yesterday downloaded your rom 1.7, just about when I was ready to flash it, I found this new version...
I'm downloading this rom right now, the only question I have is should I go with the new version as my first flash on the device?
Thanks in advance for your hard work!

Okay so I have played around with this rom for a while, I was coming from Finless 1.7a. It seems pretty good, although Finless 1.7a seemed a bit more responsive. Also it appears to be very laggy with my Sainsonic fly mouse/keyboard. The cursor stops and lags most of the time. I experienced it sometimes with the Finless 1.7a under load, but it happends all the time now :/
Would have loved to keep this rom for the updated Stagefright though, but the cursorlag is killing me

I have Test the Firmware and can say it is a good one. A new Kernel CPU running at 1.4 GHz and the GPU is Faster.
I will make a Custom Rom with it.

from CWM?
Hi Neomode.
Sometime ago I broke the USB plug where to execute the flash tool in download mode. Now, is there any possibility to flash the ROM from CWM (I installed the 6 version)? I mean, provided that there's no way to flash it from the HOST USB port (?) and the AC port.
Thank youLast edited by danifeb; 29 April 2013, 11:41.

To be honest i haven't tested it much, but this ROM seems to crash my UG007(II) every now and then. Not under stress or anything but just while it's sitting there. On the other hand it does seem to use a lot less power! (which might cause the crashes if it's just undervolting too much). Often when it's idle my powermeter doesn't even report anything?! (Which i guess would mean less or at least around just 1w)
Another funny thing is it wont connect to my wifi router. I have a pretty weak signal so it wont connect with the message "Avoided poo internet connection"Which i think is very helpfull, avoiding a poor connection to leave me without any.
Was going to try with my USB WIFI dongle, but since there is a new stock ROM with new kernel i'll wait for that one. The faster GPU sounds great. Will probably be enough to play full 1920x1080 movies using XBMC (on a 720p kernel which i guess it is right?)
EDIT: Just tested a few video files from SD-card and they seem to run quite bad. Even 1920x800 had a lot of dropped frames.Last edited by Abducted; 29 April 2013, 17:21.- UG007-II with Finless iMito MX1/2 1.7a ROM and UG802 2Dark4U 1080p overclock kernel and USB WIFI dongle.
