Wifi usb dongle

Just found this thread cause i broke the wire on my wifi antenna, on my mk 802IIIS bt
Found this youtube video of getting usb wifi antenna to work, the antenna is this

Supposedly I should just flash your latest rom and then it should work with the usb?
In the youtube video the guide was
flash rom
make sure wifi is not running
copy the rtl8192.cu.ko to 2 places, rename them and then reboot android tv stick
reactivate the wireless and it should work.
Is there anyway for you to confirm this neo?

edit: Think my stick is 1st version. big android, small logo shipped with 4.1
