I've broke my tablet as I sat on it facepalm, so I'm using an Elephone P9 with a mtk6592 chip. I'm waiting for a new tablet.

I uninstalled all mtk drivers and my pc detects my phone when off as MT65xx Preloader.

Phone on it gets detected as MT65xx Android phone, Android Composite ADB interface is automatically install as USB debugging is enabled, turning it off just make it plug n play. Portable devices is P9

      Remove the USB.

The driver I mentioned, click dpinst or dpinst64 to install the drivers, you'll be asked to install 3 drivers. You can use the device in USB stotage or media device.

Turn phone off, I have to remove battery and put back in, you can't on the tablet. Open flashtools, press download, you may get an error as there is no device, the pc installs the preloader VCOM driver, you may get an error, disconnect the usb, press download again on flashtools, reconnect the usb and it should work.

        @marcorossi,

Same drivers/similar procedure for Cube 9X and Cube T9.
Take a cup of tea and a little patience and you'll be fine.

L.E You'll find drivers package used as reference in my post #40 on first page from that topic.

          did not work.

i should write in short words before people understand my situations exactly.

cannot work because Flash Toll is a program with which the tablet is connected with its power off, while windows cannot find my tablet when its power is off.

pressed "download", some areas grayed out, and none
nothing for more than 20 min
              stuck

cannot work because Flash Tool is a program used with a tablet or phone with its power off, while windows cannot find my tablet when its power is off

              the same ok?

As I said again & again FIRST OF ALL my tablet needs to be recognized by Windows when its power is off.

Just to be sure: did you FIRST press "download" THEN connect the tablet via USB to the PC?

vice versa is not working in any case:
SPFLASHtool MUST be set in download BEFORE connecting USB cable.

Have you got another mediatek phone or tablet to check? All the mediatek phones I've used use the same driver and procedure when flashing.

It might be easier to clean up and start again as you may be going around in circles.

What is needed more than his tablet and mine and my friend's?
The computer responded (in some way) when the tablet was connected to it even while its power was off in EVERY post I found so far.
                          My tablet does not however.
Don't you think it the point?

OK, have you removed the drivers usb-related and added this couple of days??
I'm using more than 20 distinct usb devices. I don't want to make any mistakes but want to remove all unused ones.

I just cancelled mtk stuff from lenovo for my mom to rechoose a cellphone with some other processor...

A different mediatek phone to see if that also gets named xiong android phone. If that's the case you have the wrong driver installed.

I received my tablet and this is what comes up.

When USB debugging is on it calls this from the ADB driver. Driver provider Google Inc

                                %CompositeAdbInterface% = USB_Install, USB\VID_0BB4&PID_0C03&MI_01

String for this is CompositeAdbInterface = "Android Composite ADB Interface"

In MTP mode. Driver provider Microsoft

                                USB\VID_0BB4&PID_2008

                                Device is called U65GT

When off it loads the preloader driver which only flashes for a second if you haven't started flash tools first. Driver provider MediaTek Inc.

%MTK_PRELOADER%=Reader, USB\Vid_0e8d&Pid_2000 <This is a universal driver id and works on all mediatek devices for the preloader to function.

String for this is MTK_PRELOADER = "MediaTek PreLoader USB VCOM Port"

So if the string = xiong android phone, you have the wrong driver installed.

I'm only saying remove the mediatek drivers and remnants of it that you've installed under android phone and ports, you can leave the rest as it is.
